I'm going to avoid the last two side-quests and just head to the final dungeon. I don't care if I'm going to miss out on Pipegunk's refight or the 5th monster challenge. Rewards aren't worth it anyways.

Personally, I would give Good Feel a chance with the series, should we ever get another and Acquire get, well, name saked. They know Peach and Yoshi, so are immersed in the wider Mario world already. Plus, I feel that having the Goemon 64 director in charge of a series known for funny writing and absurdness could work.
It probably would still mean a lot of back tracking, as sending you back to levels again and again for new stuff is basically their calling card, but I still admire them as a developer! Lol.
@Mana_Knight Ehh. Given what the last few Yoshi games have been like- I'd rather Nintendo just go directly to ILCA. That has the most AlphaDream employees, and ILCA could probably get the general feel of the art style down a bit better. Especially seeing what they did for their anime offerings (less so BDSP).
I feel like shipping the game off to a studio that makes exclusively platformers wouldn't bode well. Especially when those platformers are made for younger kids, and Mario and Luigi is a series that's made for anyone of any age to enjoy.

Aside from that, I'm still in the final dungeon. Probably going to quit for the night since I have class pretty early tomorrow. I like how they at least kept it true to series' fashion by making the puzzles in the dungeon genuinely complex and made the enemies in it actually difficult to fight against. Here I was thinking I'd be able to finish this game tonight if I skipped the last two side quests, but it seems like it'll have to wait for either tomorrow night, or the night after.

I feel like Peach Showtime showed Good Feel could do some super creative things that weren't only about platforming. Also, it is reasonably for all ages — a few parts would be too challenging for super small kids and honestly a lot of the references and jokes would be totally lost on young kids.
Good Feel is also very good at not letting a game stay past it's welcome. Plus they worked on Mario & Luigi: Dream Team, even if only some of the battles. That said, Good Feel probably wouldn't be a great option simply because they have too many series right now — Yoshi, Peach, Bakeru, Kirbys Epic Yarn if it ever gets ported to Switch.
@VoidofLight Showtime has some adult fans. Fishy and I are among them. It is very easy, for the most part, but there are some tricky bits too. It has good variety. Good if you like Kirby and Yoshi games kind of thing.
@VoidofLight I've not played Showtime, but I think the game did what it needed to. I wouldn't be against Good-Feel handling a new entry. From their work on Yoshi and Wario Land, they seem to have a good understanding of what makes those series work in terms of design as well recognizing the importance of strong art direction.
"Now I have an obligation to tag along and clear the area if Luigi so much as glances at a stiletto."
So long as late game stays challenging, then I guess I wouldn’t mind them tackling the series. Just don’t want the games to be overly easy and aimed at a very young audience.

I love GoodFeel and most of their games, but their stuff tends to not be especially challenging. I'd say Woolly World is probably their toughest game and even then, it's not that hard. And that's totally fine, they make up for it in other ways most of the time, but whether or not their style can support a lengthy RPG, I'm not so sure.
Ehh. I just heard from most that the game is really really easy with 0 challenge to be had. Seeing as I really don't enjoy Kirby either, or Yoshi- I'd rather them just not touch the series.

@N00BiSH Ahh thanks. I beat it just a bit ago. Over-all I'd say the strongest part of this game was the final dungeon and final boss. My only gripe is that it feels like the stuff with the brothers didn't really earn itself in a vacuum. When they started mentioning everything Mario and Luigi did, I started thinking back to past games instead- as their bond is much stronger in those.
Gameplay and level design is pretty good. Art style needs a ton of work. Story needed better pacing and better writing to make you actually care about the characters. The final boss theme was decent, but I'm probably never going to listen to it outside of the game, unlike with Shimomura's final boss music.

@N00BiSH So far, out of the ones I've played (which is all of them aside from PiT), I'd say that it's probably better than Sticker Star, but no-where near Dream Team, BiS, or SuperStar Saga. This was the first game in the series that I actually rolled the credits on grant it, but I got pretty far in the others. Enough to tell a massive difference in writing quality and gameplay at the very least.
I still stand by how I feel like the narrative for Brothership could've actually ended up being the best in the series though. The only issue is that it just shot itself in the foot and didn't give a reason for me to care about many of the side characters.

@rallydefault I don't think I will ever 100 percent it for that very reason. I am still finding the hidden Ninjas to at least finish off that, but the no damage boss fights, especially against Madame Grape? I don't see how it is possible!!!
