Topic: Bought Animal Crossing / Switch Lite, where is the game?

Hello everyone

This is probably a stupid question as I'm new to the Switch, but here goes - we bought a Switch Lite for our daughter as part of a package that includes Animal Crossings: New Horizons.

We bought directly from Nintendo's website in the UK.

When it arrived, the game isn't on the Switch and we don't have a download code; the only way we can get the game is to buy it.

There is no option to re-download

Is anyone able to help, please?

@ohfrenny That is strange indeed. Did you make a Nintendo account already? It's probably under your eShop download list or in the email associated with said Nintendo account. If neither, I would contact Nintendo about it. Tell them your situation and they should get the game ready for you.

@ohfrenny to get more attention, change the title to something like, bought animal Crossing switch lite, where is the game?

I think when you buy a console bundled with game, there is a download code somewhere. And, you have to go on eshop to redeem it.

If a download code was missing from the packaging in a bundle (for example, a Nintendo Switch bundle that included a game download code), please contact us for additional support.

@WoomyNNYes Title changed I can't find download code anywhere on email receipt or in packaging etc.

I've sent Nintendo a message, so fingers crossed.

I can't see a download list in the eshop, and it's definitely not in packaging or email receipt.

I've messaged Nintendo, so hopefuly they'll sort it.
