The thing that makes me feel at least a bit confident in this movie is that Wes Ball is a Zelda fan. Over a decade ago, he talked about how the next huge motion-capture project after Avatar should be a Zelda adaptation while lamenting how he wouldn't be able to direct such a thing, and he was also singing the praises of Tears of the Kingdom on Twitter a few months ago

I think I'm going to expect Link to speak. I personally don't mind Link having a voice but I know Nintendo had been adamant about keeping him silent in the games. This time, though, I just THINK they might bend for a movie, like they did with giving Mario and Luigi more character background with a family. I don't know if making Link silent while everyone else talks would really work. It might or might not look and feel awkward considering this is a live-action movie, not a game. We'll see. I just hope the actor is good, let alone the actor's voice!

I've never been so scared of a movie in my life... I want it to be done right, but I have a really bad feeling it's gonna be mid and maybe even bad.

What are the odds on Chris Pratt or Tom Holland taking the lead role?? ....!

As spam comments promoting a website go, this one is intriguing to me. In what sense did the same thing happen with Fifty Shades of Grey? It was announced? Because I think that happens to most movies.

As the first film in a new Zelda franchise, I would think Ocarina of Time would be a good starting point as far as the characters go, in particular Ganon.

I’d like the film to be the modern day vibes of Never Ending Story, but it’s unlikely to go in that direction. But with most of the games having an esrb ‘E’ rating, I do expect the direction to skew less “mature” than the sorts of movies long time Zelda fans are probably watching on average

I really think making this a live action movie is a bad idea. An animated movie, i think, would have been far better. Something akin to the cutscenes in the link’s awakening remake would be awesome.

I hope it will be good! Personally I've always wanted to see a BOTW/TOTK related film done in Studio Ghibli's style

if the LA movie does well we could see more film/TV stuff, maybe some of it could be in the anime style.
