I've seen many a commenter complain about how they get lost picking options in Emio.
I've got good news and bad news.
Emio has a built in hint system for guiding the player to the next option. It's an improvement over the Missing Heir and the Girl who stands Behind.
Go to settings and turn on highlighting if it's off.

The bad news is that this only highlights potential leads and doesn't pick them for you. You'll need to use your intuition to pick out how to follow that lead.

It's not a perfect fix, but I'm surprised not many people are talking about it.

Side note: Finally the useless orange text from Ocarina of Time has a use, took 26 years. Congratulations normally useless game mechanic.

@TheSaneInsanity It's been a few days since I've played this, and I've only played the demo so far, but from memory, the orange highlights only appear occasionally, so good on you for speaking up for the game, but I wouldn't say you've changed my mind on the issue. Most of the time the orange highlights are not there.

You guys had me at blood and semen.

What better way to celebrate than firing something out of the pipe?

@gcunit It's easy to miss, I think the majority of the highlights come at the end of a dialogue. I remember it being everywhere except for when I had to wait for the bus. I still need to play chapter 3, maybe it stops appearing as often?

I don't get how anyone could really get lost, to be honest. Most of the time it felt pretty obvious which options to pick and even if it's not, the options are so limited that it only takes a few seconds to try everything anyway. It's basically impossible to get stuck. Can't say I paid all that much attention to the orange text in general but don't recall it always being there.
