@Rambler I once listed to a podcast because Karl Urban was the guest. It was during lockdown so it was done over Zoom and so it sounded pooey and couldn’t hear his voice cleanly but it was an Aussie accent which must be similar to a natural New Zealand accent. They started asking him about his marriage to Nicole Kidman and his music career which surprised me as I didn’t know he was married to her and thought he must be a musician on the side like Johnny Depp or the Spike actor from Buffy until I clogged on that I missed read Keith as Karl. I was very disappointed I didn’t get to hear stories from him about Dread, Star Trek and The Boys.
@Kermit1 I’m the same, I’m too heavily influenced by what I see on tv especially R rated shows so I try to avoid them. When I watched Sons Of Anarchy I tore the sleeves off my denim jacket, got onto my bicycle and started riding around the street blasting Zakk Wylde music whilst drinking coke through my noses not understanding how it wasn’t making me happy like the bikers on the telly.
Nares are the nostrils of a frog. Frogs have both external and internal nares that they use to bring air into their mouth to breathe when they are not in water. They have other methods of breathing when they are in water. Frogs also have the ability to breathe through their skin.

thank you 5th grade science, I never thought I'd need to use again
At some point I might just give up on trying to try to stay caught up on all this Marvel stuff, but that has not happened yet. So I decided to watch the first episode of both Loki and Daredevil. By sheer luck, these are both definitely better than any previous episode of any Marvel live action show I've watched (barring Agent Carter season 2, the literal only MCU thing I would say is underappreciated), by far. Excellent start to both series, thumbs up.
By contrast, Wandavison was good, but even before the weird, too much going on last 2 episodes, it never felt like it lived up to what it could've been (its mostly a very 7/10 version of its own premise) While Hawkeye/Falcon and Winter Soldier were kinda fun in the middle, but the last episode of both were as mid as Marvel has ever been.
Not aimed at anyone specifically but with everyone talking about this being the best Marvel show or that being the most underrated Marvel show or they wish Marvel were less samey or want Marvel to be smarter it’s mad they keep looking past Legion as it’s all of those things.
They asked the guy that made the excellent Fargo show what he would like to do and he picked Professor X’s crazy son who basically has the powers of a god. The show is visually rich, constantly surprising, it won’t insult your intelligence, it will engage and make you think as well as having so many mind bending bonkers moments.
Watch it and then thank me for introducing you to the best Marvel show. ;p
@Kermit1 I’m purposely indirectly answering you for a reason, there’s a few but not that many X-Men characters in the show. They do have one of the best X-Men villains Shadow King in it though.
@jump I saw someone on Push Square with that guy as their pfp and for the longest time I thought it was a Dr. Who villain. Who would've thought that this Humpty Dumpty looking behemoth was from Marvel?!

@Link-Hero I'm glad you like it. I'm lazy and haven't started season 3 yet, I will wait once they are all out so I can then binge them on a hangover Sunday.
More so in the show than the comic I find as much as it is a satire of superhero commercialism it's really more of a commentary about the narcissism of celebrity. Like people in the real world like Elon Musk, R Kelly, Ellen (not to paint them all with the same brush as they are on different levels) or whoever are openly known to be scum or are not that bad themselves but enable disgusting behaviour from otherrs can keep getting away with a smile and charming speech on tv.
They also did a series of cartoon shorts based on The Boys like the laser eyes baby gets their own episode, some of the episodes are meh but a few of them are really good.
Also is it weird that after watching The Boys I developed a crush on Aya Cash despite her playing such a scumbag?
@Kermit1 You will only get over your fear once you have binged all three seasons of Legion. Once you've finished you can then thank me for curing your fear and recommending to you the most mind bendingly brilliant show Marvel has ever done.
