To be fair, The only Spider-Man movie I don’t like is Far From Home. I’d give NWH a 7.5/10 and Spider-Man 3 an 8.5/10.

The cameos make NWH. Outside of that is just a really messy plot and a movie that doesn’t make a ton of sense. For example, instead of the big concern with Peters identity getting revealed being that his family was in danger, the only concern is that his friends can’t get in college. And they just skip over the aftermath of the identity reveal, which is the whole reason the idea is interesting. Plus, how does taking away the villains powers help save them? Assuming they are taken out of their universes right before they die, taking away their powers would do nothing. Dock Ock would still need to sink his machine into the river and Electro would be killed from the electricity he would be hit with. The only one that may be saved is Green Goblin, because it isn’t clear when he is taken. Sand Man and Lizard don’t die, so they don’t really matter. I think the only reason they are included is that there was originally supposed to be a multiverse sinister six. But that is just my theory.

That being said, I love all the cameos and still have fun watching the movie.

@blindsquarel fair, really felt like it could have used a part 1/2 thing, they 100% did have ideas and did their very best with them but it did feel like a slushy mess of a story and trying to soft reboot Spidey.

and I think I heard in the leak world they did at one point have a Sinister Six thing but Multiverse stuff was all the rage at the moment so they went with that.

A part 1/2 would have been great. Make part 1 about the aftermath of Peters identity reveal. Maybe have Scorpion as the main villain since he wanted to hurt Spider-Man personally after Homecoming. And then part 2 could have been the multiverse stuff.

Obviously one movie of the next trilogy will have Venom as the main villain, but I hope they use the sinister six in another. Maybe introduce the Black suit in Spider-Man 4 with Scorpion and say, Kraven as the villains. Then have the 5th movie be the Venom movie, and the sixth be a sinister six one. Members could maybe be Vulture, Scorpion, Mysterio, Kraven, Mr Negative, and Green Goblin.

@Kermit1 Funny thing, Disney almost pursued legal action over that "Escape from Tomorrow" indie movie because it was filmed at Disneyland and Disney World without permission, but they realized that if they did pursue, more people would find out about it, and as a result pretty much nobody knows of its existence.

@EaglyBird Yeah, like even the dirtiest show can be funny if it actually has a plotand characters. Like straight up, Shimoneta TRANSLATES to dirty word/dirty joke, this anime makes a dirty joke out of everything. So why is it one of my favorites? It has plot, the jokes are actually funny, the characters have personalities, and so much more. Dirty jokes don't ruin a show, no matter how often they're used, what ruins a show is when it has nothing to do with the plot, and the plot sucks and the characters are trash.

It’s weird looking back on the Pokémon anime and seeing just how dark it is in the early episodes, and how much of a jerk practically everyone was to Ash.

@EaglyBird I make offensive jokes all the time (not here obviously, I'm not tryna get banned) so I do appreciate dark twisted and dirty humor. STuff like dirty humor, like, it would work in a stand up comedy show, cause there's so characters to have plot or something, but when it's in a show or movie or game or just whatever, you need plot to go with it. You can't just say something offensive and dip, you need good characters and a good plot. Like for Shimoneta, the plot is they're actually trying to save humanity (I know that sounds absolutely insane but if you watched the show you'd understand) and the characters have feelings and personalities and backstories. Sure, Shimoneta purely exists to be dirty, but it also exists to have a good story and good characters. And if some weird ancient anime about dirty jokes can be good, then so can any other show with dirty jokes, as long as there's plot and good characters.

@EaglyBird the physics is a lot better than the NEW games IMO, and the movement really flows, the challenge is there (unlike the NEW games).

and the music and the gameplay go hand and hand with each other.

the game feels more like a Rayman game than Mario game
