My mom said she's getting me a record player for my brithday (I have no idea why she told me) and for the past 3 days I have done nothing but look at vinyl records I could never afford

@EaglyBird Yeah I also enjoy dirty humor but when you make that the entire premise of your show that's just weird (I may have watched Shimoneta, a show literally about dirty humor, but they do it in a way where it's so stupid it's funny, and there's also an actual story). Like not all humor needs to be dirty to be funny, like tricking someone to say who after telling them someone said they sound like an owl is also the funniest thing ever

@BobTheBunkerGuy I LOVE Slime Rancher. My brother bought it for me for Christmas a couple years ago, on the brand new Steam account he had recently (at that moment) made for me. I haven't beaten the game yet cause I didn't know you COULD beat it, but I have 16 hours in it and I love it

I've been feeling horribly ill as of late, and I really don't like it. A sore throat and blocked nose, which is what it felt like when I had COVID, so it's probably that again. The chill in the air this time of year is actually helping a bit, and I've been stuck taking the dog for a walk in the evenings anyway, because most everyone else is away. I also managed to find the expensive 3DS game that I mentioned having been lost for ages. I'm still stuck on it, though.

@EaglyBird It's not as bad as it could be, I had it before and it was worse then, mine could even be just a cold, but my family are getting it worse than I am, so I'm more worried about them. It's highly unlikely they'll die of it, they aren't the kind of people to fall behind on vaccines.
And because I am the kind of person to prefer talking about videogames than diseases, the game is Project X Zone 2. It's just some kind of crossover strategy game, that seems to actually be canonical to some of the games that have characters in it, like Super Robot Wars, I think? I don't know why that is, but it's really fun. It has Fiora and KOS-MOS in, too. And X and Zero. Characters from Tales of Vesperia, Tekken, and a bunch of Resident Evil characters. It also kind of plays like a fighting game at times. I'll be honest, I only really got it because it had characters from Fire Emblem: Awakening, and I really liked their blue colour scheme and the design of the Falchions. I got it years ago for £25, so it was disheartening when I thought I had lost it forever without ever finishing it, and it would cost 4 or 5 times the amount I paid for it to replace it.
Sorry, this got kind of out-of-hand and ramble-y.

@EaglyBird Luckily, I'm fairly certain that the others left before they were infected and won't be back until after everyone is back to normal, I'm fairly certain.
As the game, I have both of them, but I haven't played much of the first. Even before the eShop closed down, neither of them were available digitally, so it had skyrocketed in price second-hand. I was really lucky to get both of them for decent prices. The character interaction in the game are really fun to see. I haven't played an awful lot of the games that were in it, but the characters I was familiar with didn't seem out of character at all. The gameplay is on a map, so it's like Fire Emblem for that, which is nice, but when you engage an enemy, it kind of goes into a fighting game type screen where there are 2 characters on your side on the screen and an enemy unit, I guess. I spent ages trying to perfect the critical timing for each move, and I never got bored. I only really got it for a couple of them, though. Kiryu and Majima are of course 1 pair, and they were fun to get criticals with, along with Kazuya Mishima and Jin Kazama from Tekken, and X and Zero from Mega Man.

@Princess_Lilly Unless something's really bad, I prefer to just leave it alone. I've just spent the last couple of days watching anime and playing videogames when there's not a job that urgently needs doing, and I can just ignore it for most of that. Thank you for the concern, though, both you and EaglyBird. It's really appreciated.

@Princess_Lilly Yeah, it's getting late, so I should go to bed now. Good night, and thank you for your well-wishing.
