@Owl1 No, my profile picture is Gawr Gura, the extremely popular VTuber. And she is a shark. Everyone calls her a shork, though, because it's just a cuter version of shark you could say

@EllaTheKawaiiNeko There’s a lot you don’t know about me 😁 in all seriousness yes I love her content! She was one of my entry Vtubers so I enjoy watching her, I didn’t know you were into her till I saw your pfp, because a lot of people on here don’t even know what a vtuber is, or just finds them gross, I guess.
@Owl1 I like to call her a shork, sharky, or just shark lol.
@Snatcher Yeah, I like Gura, I rearely watch her streams, but she's cute and has a nice voice, especialy for singing
Everyone, I say we all submit submissions for @Owl1 VTuber name and then vote on them or whatever
@Professor_PlumberYo-Kai Watch 3 was of particular interest to me since my big problem with the first two games was the combat wheel; footage appeared to show a better battle system. Unfortunately, physical copies were snapped up almost immediately, then flogged way over MSRP even used. Mechanically the Pokemon games are superior, but YW was better in visuals, world engagement, and general whimsy IMO.
@Sunsy I periodically silence my phone during work hours (outside of whitelisted numbers) and use the Do Not Disturb feature at night. I admittedly sometimes forget to turn notifications back on after. XD Most notification noises don't bother me and aren't frequent, but my Gmail notifications go pretty crazy sometimes. I've had to modify how those work.
@MarioLover92 Sounds like you've invested way more time in the Depths than I have so far, though that'll change as I get closer to reaching the end. I prefer to focus most of my efforts on the surface and sky for now (well, what I can get to; I've had to mark the locations of some island that are too high for now). That said, I have spent some time in the Depths. Almost done with East Necluda. I plan to head off to the Akkala region next after I get a side quest in Hateno out of the way. I'm not trying to be a completionist by any means, but there's SO much to do lol. WarioWare titles I've played: WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Microgame$!, Touched!, Smooth Moves, Game & Wario (if this counts), Gold, and Get It Together. I'd like to try Twisted, but it was pretty expensive to buy last I checked. Some of the microgames have appeared in other titles however.
I was very bad at paintball, but with practice I could've improved. I played softball and volleyball back in the day, but that was pretty much it. I forgot both those Shining Force games are on NSO, though I don't really use the apps despite having the basic package. I hope you're enjoying FE7/Blazing Blade! That's a fun one despite having automatic permadeath (Yes, I'm a Fire Emblem casual; I get stressed enough trying to keep all my units in battle even with the option turned off lol). I played it on the Wii U VC a few years back.
@EaglyPurahfan I used to change my username for the Christmas season, but that was pretty much it. I started out as just "Trinexx" here, then blended my username with one of my favorite Pokemon (Tyranitar) and it stuck. One can do what they like with their username as long as it adheres to the site rules IMO. I'll probably trim my own responses down, I like corresponding like this but my free time has been less lately. Especially since I'll be traveling soon. Still doing some planning and prep for that.
I just hit 100 hours in TotK last weekend. I've been playing almost constantly but have taken a couple of short gaming breaks (usually a day or two) for various reasons. Two dungeons down, 330+ Korok seeds found, 94 Shrines, 32, Lightroots, and 21 hearts last I checked. Working on some side stuff in NE Hyrule before heading off to the next one (Zora's Domain). Occasionally I'm seguing in short(ish) side games too. I finished WarioWare: Get It Together! recently, ironically just before the new WW game was announced. I also made the mistake of starting the Dragon Quest Builders 2 jumbo demo this weekend, so...that's another game I want now. No experience with the Yakuza series, but I've heard it's very good; they need to come to the Switch lol. Tamatoa in Moana was legendary; we need more of him. I haven't cared for hardly any of the live action Disney remakes I've seen, but some of their more recent animated films are amazing IMO. Encanto, Tangled, Frozen II (liked it more than the first one), Zootopia.... I haven't seen the Jungle Cruise movie, never had much interest in it...but I'd probably watch it on a rainy day if I'm held prisoner at a house that isn't my own lol. As for the MCU, I have heard good things about the films you mentioned - It's been ages since I've watched a Spiderman movie, need to fix that - but the rest have apparently been meh. I'm definitely excited for Deadpool 3 having watched the previous two films. IMO the second was even better than the first.
I can assure you the DCAU is amazing. They were written to be consumable by kids, yeah, but a lot of the subject matter is handled to where all audiences can easily watch. Some really heavy stuff is covered...especially in the Batman sphere. The DCEU sounds like it is in good hands with Gunn. I leave for my vacation midway through next month. A lot of the payments are out of the way, now for some late buying and early packing lol. I hope you have a good vacation as well, even if your sister is going.
I'm assuming Kirby does pretty well, though I've only stuck with some mainline titles and no spinoffs yet (newer Kirby fan). As for Zelda, some of the stories are meh, but others hit it out of the park for me. Ocarina of Time/Majora's Mask, Link's Awakening (if only for the implications at the end; those are DARK), Twilight Princess, The Wind Waker, what I've seen so far of TotK (Not my favorite, but there's a curveball I wasn't expecting), heck, even parts of Skyward Sword....True, the games don't go as deep as some franchises, but I still find the plots of many of the mainline games very enjoyable. Same with some of the characters. Honestly, stuck between pure gameplay and deeper story describes many action/adventure games I've played well. I don't consider the Zelda franchise an RPG franchise, though Zelda II came somewhat close in the early days by those standards with its mechanics. XC3 was easier for me to pick up than the other games; XCX was my first Xenoblade, and I was beyond lost with the combat at first. They're all amazing in some way or other, but the combat can definitely be pretty complex. XC2 was also difficult for me until about 3/4 of a way through the game due to how poorly things outside of basic combat mechanics are explained. I had no clue how to properly use elemental orbs for the longest time. I will agree Xenoblade is more likely to venture into dark territory, but keep in mind the target audiences for both franchises too. I'm surprised Wind Waker still hasn't been brought to the Switch, they might be leaving it for the next console at this point.
While I realized this wasn't the case, I had the thought at more than one point in my playthrough: What if some players started the game on the Agnus side, adding to replayability? Then I realized the framing of events around Noah would null that out. I'm not sure if a scene where Sena would get the praise for something Mio did instead (if I'm following) would be beneficial, but she could have used more screen time of being her own person instead of a female foil of Lanz in some ways. Shania made her own choices, but at the same time there was set up for what she was. Which makes me (mostly) believe the saying that most monsters aren't born, they're made. Ghondor certainly meant well and has a great heart, but if I'd met her in real life her mannerisms would've driven me away almost immediately. I think them not showing but clearly implying what happened to her off-screen is all that separated the game from earning an M rating lol. And I thought XCX got dark at times!
The recent Direct was pretty solid, nothing I want day one. I'm most interested in Super Mario Bros. Wonder, the Super Mario RPG remake, the Batman Arkham Trilogy, Detective Pikachu Returns (tentative), Dragon Quest Monsters: The Dark Prince, and WarioWare: Move It!. I'm happy for Pikmin fans too, even though I have no investment in the franchise.
@Owl1 Hmm, I like those names, they'll make ya stand out. But let's say people wanna use the lvie chat feature, what would they call you? No one wants to spell those out.

@EllaTheKawaiiNeko give them a challenge I say, they need to learn to type, if their fingers don't bleed when they finish then they need to re-learn to type.
