@Eagly Yup, I've heard that a lot in the very short amount of time I've looked at the Xenoblade subreddit recently. Seriously, we have (excluding Vangarre who shares the same Japanese name as the Vandhams) about 8, dunno if I should count Na'el or not.

Same, especially since I’m gonna try to complete most everything in the game. ( except for koroks, that ain’t happening.)

@Eagly I do kind of hate the fact there are two Ghondor Vanhams, though. I'm a great believer in the one Steve limit.

@Eagly To be honest I don't remember Sworn Protector Hector and that's probably because I've never read it aloud in my mind.
I don't know, I'll look at pictures of them sometime for comparison.
I wonder how they came up with the idea to just name UMs a normally mundane name preceded with a (normally) dramatic adjective.

I feel like I'm stuck, the progress isn't great and even though I'm trying new things, I end up defaulting back to the same things I've been doing over again.

@Eagly Well, yeah I know that, I just kind of assumed they also had daft names in Japanese as well. Unfortunately, the wiki doesn't seem to say the JP names so I can't check. Yeah, I've heard Riku's JP voice and god is it jarring after hearing the English one.

@TeaCatherine Thanks! I just realized that Krita (my painting program) just ate some shadows, probably because I don't fully understand how they work yet, lol.

@blindsquarel Normally when I see an enemy over my level I do this:

I’m stubborn and try to take on the high rank enemy’s. I took 40 minutes trying to beat a gloom lynel with one heart available. Heck I’m still at four hearts, although I have 3 upgrades to do.

I’ve had multiple playthroughs of BOTW where I didn’t get any koroks. I was always to lazy to go find Hestu.
