Offline friends are overrated. Online friends are true friends because they don’t give a damn who you are as a person, as long as you are good at screaming through the mic and hurling insults
@ComfyAko “lip corners” lmao! That is the first time I hav ever heard this.
@TheBigBlue Ah, a true online friend has to also had to make one your mom joke, or there not your real friend, don’t worry it’s a common misconception.
Good morning.
I was sleeping while listening to a music from my phone with earphone and I woke up before 3 am.
I had quite peculiar dream, the last thing I remembered I was dipping an ingredient into dipping sauce for making BBQ.
@Anti-Matter
You know how sometimes people are like “this person I know was in my dream”
I always hope I show up. But when I don’t I’m like “have I not invaded your conscience enough”
Idk why I wrote this
I fear no man
but that thing:
The carrot minigame from bowser's inside story
it scares me
@WaffleBoat
Dream is very abstract / surreal "movie".
Sometimes I had a dream that looks like a trailer of movie when I woke up and still remembered the dream.
I wrote up my dream on paper before I forgot them.
@ComfyAko Hey, everyone has a somewhat weird sense of humour sometimes, I know I'm always being told off for laughing at weird things. Also, good line. @Snatcher Yeah, I mean your Mythra pfp is certainly better than mine. Also, I mean I had used rare and common ones before but then I got a legendary one from a chest used it and bam. Also, I'm up to Tantal and I accidently found one of the superbosses at somewhere called the profaned place.

@Anti-Matter good timing we were just talking about some bbq
Talking of dreams, I dreamt I was some sort of ferret with a mohawk and had to wait for the wind and then start running, don't ask. (Weird part is I can sorta tell how my brain, or lack thereof, managed to glue this together from random thoughts I had in like last 3 days)
@TeaCatherine well, it's good to be able to laugh at many things. Don't think I'm weird though, I'm normal I don't cook dogs I promise
and on that bombshell, I wish you all fluffy dreams
@Eagly Seems like we're mostly in agreement regarding multiplayer games. XD On the PC: Thanks! I was hoping for later this year, but an interesting development has surfaced. More on that soon! (I'll mention it in general eventually) That's high praise for Peacemaker; definitely enough for me to check out the show at some point! Interesting story about James Gunn and that contract, which signifies the guy is really passionate. I'm not much of a TV watcher, but I have ways to work things in lol.
"Technically functional" when referring to Tri Force Heroes's single player mode is correct. I enjoyed it at first, but my frustration mounted as I progressed farther in the game. The final boss was especially a royal pain; kinda sad really, since I think it would've been much more fun with others. Some people actually prefer Phantom Hourglass since sailing is more freeform (vs. being restricted to train tracks), but IMO the various improvements far outweigh that aspect. My main issue with the Zelda DS pair is how heavily they use the touch screen...though Spirit Tracks isn't quite as bad. I do agree that the Spirit Flute is a pain to use even if I do like a lot of the tunes (Didn't help that I was ill-informed on how the mic feature worked while playing it; I thought you had to blow into the sound speakers.... ). Outside of TFH, all the 3DS Zelda titles are amazing. Even the DSiWare remaster of Four Swords Anniversary Edition (DLed that on 3DS) was decent and did the single player aspect justice.
Perfect characters are indeed boring, overrated, and WAY overdone. No problem bringing in Peacemaker; that's a great example, and I did watch The Suicide Squad, so no spoiler worries here. XD Though I do admit I was sad at Rick dying, though I think that actually helps the movie. Aegeon is sort of a blank slate, though I think I recall a line or two of dialogue that might suggest something was going on between him and Brighid...or maybe that's me projecting onto him from her lol. Sena was decent, but yeah probably the least deep out of the main six in XC3; heck, her Ascension quest is basically one big wrap-up for Shania. I wouldn't call Pyra perfect, I'm mostly in agreement with you there. Definitely born from Mythra's regrets and what she wanted to be though. Quite frankly, with how Torna ended, I find her creating the "perfect" version of herself - AKA Pyra - very understandable.

@Sunsy It's honestly really cool that Sega would include all of this on their Sonic games on the PC. Kind of like how you'd see concept art on modern collections. I still remember that mysterious first music track from playing Sonic CD on a CD player. That was the prototype sound for when Sonic time traveled, right? I remember hearing something like that.
Yeah, ever since I got the Game Boy Advance years ago, I focused all my handheld gaming on that. Not only was it backwards compatible, I loved the GBA's own games too. That included the ports from the SNES, such as the Super Mario Advance games. I never played Kirby Tilt 'n Tumble, isn't that coming out on NSO?
Yeah, it seems to just happen when using Firefox, Chrome, or Edge. I did notice they use a good chunk of memory. It doesn't seem to happen when using Discord, so that program's not at fault I don't think. I haven't tried any games, so I could see if that happens there. My laptop does have an HDMI port, so I could try that out next time I use it. I kinda want to give it a rest though, I'll let you know how it turned out. Thanks for your help!
I believe so, I use to do that too. Sonic R had the whole soundtrack when you put the game disc in a CD player and skip track 1 (which is data and apparently could damage players AFAIK).
Yup, I'd say my GBA is my most used handheld system. I loved how I had classic games on it, Dr. Mario, Sega Smash Pack (Sonic Spinball, Golden Axe, and Ecco), Sonic 1 (despite technical problem, still liked having Sonic 1 on the go before the DS collection came along), Super Mario Advance. It was cool, along with various cartoon based games (I was playing a Jimmy Neutron one the other day). I believe it is, I'm looking forward to it, it used motion control to move Kirby.
Interesting. The reason I'd say plug it into a TV or a monitor is to check to see if the glitch shows up there. That could determine if it's the display or not. From the sounds of it, it sounds like a problem with the browser. You could try disabling some plug-ins if you have any or reinstall Firefox and Chrome fresh if you want to try that. You're welcome, hope you could get it sorted out.
@Sunsy I'd seen rumblings - thankfully without spoilers - about a mid-credits scene, but I probably wouldn't have stayed to the very end if I hadn't noticed other patrons doing so lol. I did quite like the Yoshi egg bit and won't complain at all if it's hinting at a sequel.
Alright, at least that gave the hint. Some people left, there was a girl walking up and down the aisle at the side of the seats, and when me and my friend screamed in excitement after seeing the egg, she looked at us, lol. I'm very ok with a Yoshi movie
I just thought of something... I'd like a Yoshi Woolly World movie made by the Trolls team by DreamWorks. They really nailed the arts and crafts look down in the Trolls movies.
One of my favorite bits from rick and morty sums this up perfectly morty is screaming at rick about how this adventure is dumb and he wants to go on classic adventures. Rick says he has no idea what morty means and asks morty to tell him something he likes. It’s funnier if you know how obnoxious R&M fans can get but yeah it’s perfect. Saying something is bad is kind of useless it dosen’t give any path to the creators for how to fix a flawed project. You aren’t giving anyone feedback your complaing and don’t get me wrong straight complaining can be cathartic but it isn’t beneficial for anyone. I mean imagine asking for salt by saying this food sucks you’re not getting salt the chef is just going to get mad at you.
When someone says who asked for this either thier a fan talking about an unnecessary reboot or they don’t hang around people who care about said tv show/movie franchise. For instance I could say who asked for avatar 3 and the answer would be many people I don’t see because I hate the franchise so I don’t talk about it online so I never see people talking about wanting more avatar. I am sure that the main reason they haven’t seen people asking for trolls 3 is they don’t care about trolls so they don’t engage in the fandom which is completely normal but mistaking it for no one caring about trolls is dumb
I hope RG is good the way I see it dreamworks has been on a hot streak and while not evey movie of theirs from now on will be a winner I am definitely hoping that it’s a continuation of the streak. As you could probably tell from my profile I am slightly exited for guardians 3 it’s not like I’ve been rewatching every superhero project from james gunn
Bringing back OG Va’s is always nice fanscervice nothing is more jarring than hearing a character you love sounding off. Using supplemental materials works wonders for all franchises wether they are plays, books tv shows or args it is awesome and it shows that the writers actually cared about continuing the franchise rather than just crapped out a show as a brand extension
I could write an essay about how animation isn’t just for children or I could write down 2 words South park. Even ignoring adult animation come on there is a stark difference between For kids and E for everyone. Everyone on this site understands or should understand that not having mature content dosen’t make something for kids. All it means is that it’s approachable for all audiences and could be intended for kids. For instance to use my 3 favorite cartoons to only say good things about gravity falls, Owl house and Amphibia the reason people talk about them is because they were made to be approachable Thats it an adult could approach them just as a child and that’s what makes them great. Because you don’t need mature content to tell a mature story in fact I’d argue those shows have more mature stories than some stuff meant for adults I’ve seen that rely on dropping f bombs to be mature while having no substance beneath them unlike the shows I mentioned above which manage to tackle serious topics without being inappropriate .
Always willing to talk about cartoons in Fact while not a kids cartoon literally finished Bojack yesterday and I think I am going to tackle invincible next
You're welcome.
That is a very good way of putting it. It makes a lot of sense in that context.
Pretty much, it's either people who hate said series or they don't care for it to say "nobody asked for this." It does get a bit deeper when you realize something does have a fanbase and they do ask for something new. On social meda, I remember the Trolls fandom always asking for new content, even just a teaser poster. Thankfully DreamWorks eventually delivered, and fans were happy.
Indeed, and I'm excited to see what stylized animation they use next. I got reminded of Spirit Untamed today, even though it wasn't a massive hit for them, I just loved how the world of the movie has a painting look to it. I can tell. I'm looking forward to Guardians of the Galaxy 3 too, I'm not into Marvel or superheroes, but boy it definitely feels like Marvel's own Star Wars. It gives me that epic sci-fi space adventure, and I love that.
Indeed, it even made the episode even more special. Like Branch's grandma from the movie, speaking to the audience. It was very heartwarming, even sad, to see. It's this kind of heart is one of the things I love about Trolls.
That's great. Awesome, I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks some cartoons made for everyone and kids are more mature than some of the adult animated shows out there. I remember watching some Adult Swim cartoons and thinking a lot of the jokes are inappropriate. I know it's the appeal, to me at least, it feels less mature than what kids got. Some kids shows had characters that are lovable, and you like them, some even had deep story. Holy cow, I haven't finished Owl House, but so far great story telling.
Cool, hope you enjoyed Bojack and enjoy the show you'll tackle next.
@Sunsy Ooooh, now that's an interesting piece of information. Gog brought back Battlefront 2, nice nice nice! I just bought Anno and Port Royale series there, it was dirt cheap. It's great that there is at least 1 store where you can buy good old games. Myst series, Civilization 3 and 4, Schizm, Sacred, MDK, Disciples, HoMM, all those gems would have been lost in time
The weekend was great while it lasted, I made some big progress in my snapping back to reality (from my horrible procrastination habits)
Yeah, they actually brought back the servers and people play online. It uses their Galaxy client (update needed if you install from the offline installer), but I had a good time Saturday night and it felt like GameSpy Arcade was back. I remember playing the original Battlefront on there a very long time ago.
Nice, I love shopping on GOG because of the deals there. Right now I'm waiting on the May The 4th sale to start, hoping to get Star Wars: Jedi Knight - Dark Forces II. I want to play it after playing through Dark Forces recently.
@Eagly I could totally tell something would be announced today, I guess this probably means no DLC news 'til after TotK, 'cause I can't see it happening next week. (Although, it could still happen.)

@ComfyAko Oh, don't worry Ako, me and my brother also make a lot of dark jokes. One time I asked him why dark jokes are so funny and he said "It's like food, not everyone gets it" @TeaCatherine Wait I slay demons? Since when was I part of the demon slayer corps?
Edit: Y'all I manually typed catherine and had only typed TeaCather before sending I'm so stupid lol
