@ThanosReXXX LOL, yeah. I assume other life is probably at least as parasitic as we are, so that might not be a good thing...

@NEStalgia Erm... there's nothing American about the original artists, so besides Anti's possible knowledge where that is concerned, I am now questioning yours...

@ThanosReXXX Anti's the expert on American (or other) pop culture trivia. I most definitely am not

Yeah, maybe a laugh, @ThanosReXXX .... Ultimately, it's basically not really possible to say how likely it is. Yes, the sheer size of the universe makes it seem highly likely but there's plenty of things that do make it less so, as well
The number of things that nearly wiped out life here, for instance; those sorts of things would happen for other places & might have ended it for many. It just may be that actually the odds are nowhere near as good as they initially seemed & there's probably more dangers we're not aware of, as well

@ThanosReXXX Gillette made the song. Strong enough for a man, gentle enough for a woman.

@Anti-Matter Yep, what you described is in fact shown in the very first Assassin's Creed game and expanded on throughout the series. So your brain has actually been playing out the plot lines of M rated games for decades.

Phew, you scared me! I had to look around and check my privilege. (It fell off my desk, but I found it)

That reminds me, I need to do my Twitch NSO thing today.

I think I'm caught back up. We now need to theme the page in art deco.

Lols, we're hoping for the true stories of being abducted by aliens... Oh, you are actually from another planet?

@NEStalgia Apparently that’s the general consensus, yes 😂

@StephanDLW Finally got around to seeing Detective Pikachu awhile back. I was also surprised with the movie. I missed my chance to see it in the theater, and ended up seeing Aladdin instead, but did grab the DVD when it was on sale a few weeks ago.

The resident Trolls superfan! Saw Trolls Band Together via early access and absolutely loved it!

@NEStalgia Good thing you added "or other", otherwise I would have to repeat myself...

@BruceCM Haha, no offense my friend, but you can't sell something to the sales professional. The numbers are and will always be against the idea that there is nothing out there. Like others besides myself have already said, the amount of galaxies, stars and planets is of such a massive volume, that the number of possibilities is FAR too great for all of them to be zero. Just think about how many Earth-like planets we've already discovered in the last few decades, and how many solar systems similar to our own. And those are just a fraction of what is out there. Combine all that with not all life necessarily having to be carbon-based, and you've got almost ironclad proof that there will be some sort of life somewhere out there.

Will we ever meet them? Probably not, or at least probably not in the coming century (or two), but they're definitely out there.

@HobbitGamer Erm... remind me, if you would be so kind, on how exactly we got from Romulans and Klingons to Gilette? I'm confused...

@antdickens Yeah, I'm good now. I already wanted to tag you in a comment, but you beat me to it...

One thing that did kind of surprise me is the following: during the problematic bit, I logged out, removed cookies, and then I was suddenly having no problems at all, but once I logged back in, the problem returned.

Also weird that nobody else commented on it, made it feel like a real only the lonely problem...

Noo !! 😡
I have never and will NEVER want to play that rated M game !
My thought about the world was based on my knowledge about Christianity and other religion. Added by ancient astronaut theory, i tried to describe if our Earth was used for a prison (based on Bible) due to some reasons and salvation promises (based on Bible too) was like a cover to hide the real reason why did the "God" (Alien in disguise) create us and put us on Earth. There was noting relationship between my theory with that rated M game even if you say that was similar. It was coincidentally same.

@ThanosReXXX - I believe that if Area 51 held some sort of important secret, something that by its very existence could potentially cause worldwide civil unrest, there would be technology present or deployed that could subdue a civilian army of any size. It’s scary to think about, but I do believe that. No idea what that weaponry would look like, but my guess would be weaponizing sound or light. Something designed for just such a scenario.

Oh, did you saw my post about DDR A20 song ? 😀
That Japanese text DDR A20 song 最小三倍完全数 (Saishou sanbai kanzensuu) if translated into English was mean The smallest 3-perfect number.
That is a song that goes back and forth between 4/4 time, 5/4 time, and 6/4 time.
4 × 5 × 6 = 120, which is the smallest 3-perfect number, also known as "hyakunijuuichi no mae"

DJ Technorch = Yutaka Yamashita (山下泰)
He was the same guy who made 888 on DDR Universe 3 XBOX 360.

Both 最小三倍完全数 and 888 are really damn hard songs. 😩
