Well we all thought that was the biggest error in the game ! the ball being 2 feet over the line but there was one more about this game that made that look miniscule by comparison...................................Capelo thought England played well
Is it just me , but is this World cup the worst one in memory ?

Officiating wise this is the worst in recent memory, by far.

Otherwise, it's okay. Certainly not the most exciting but it may pick up as we move into the final rounds.

Actually i think the refs and linesmen have out performed the players of this World cup , one or two blips but most are at the top of there game at a very high standard , especially the linesmen , making almost impossible calls by eye and getting them right almost everytime .

Well most of them should be at a very high standard, they're suppose to be the best of the best. That's why they've been called to the World Cup.

There's still been more mistakes than usual.

And now Ronaldo spat at a camera while leaving the field? What is it with soccer players and having no class?

With Ghana and Uruguay being much more managable than the giant that is Brazil, we could get into the finals. The fact that either Germany or Argentina are favorites to get into the finals there is a major chance that if that were to happen we would meet one of the two countries that prevented Orange from winning the World Cup in '74 (Germany) and '78 (Argentina). In other words; we could get even with an old foe.

In Nelson Mandela Bay, the lion is wide awake tonight! Let's just hope they don't underestimate Ghana/Uruguay because that's never good even if your the better team.

Can someone please explain how offsides works? I'm not saying that call wasn't legitimate, I just don't get the rule. How doesit work?
