it's an illegal cart thing. I don't know much about it, all I know is that it's ILLEGAL. And nobody is supposed to talk about that stuff in these forums.
Oh ok well i have till tomorrow at about maybe 7:00 p.m. to decide a game cause im leaving on Wednesday at 4 a.m. I would have to say right now its either Final Fantasy Tactics A2 or Pokemon mystery dungeon: Explorers of Darkness.

The R4DS is not illegal. It allows you to use homebrew software such as emulators, games, and applications. It also allows you to play music and video via Moonshell. You can play commercial game on it, but this is illegal unless you own the original game. SonicMaster do some research first before you post.

Hey everybody I have decided to buy Final Fantasy Tactics A2. I wont buy this game till tomorrow, so you still got time to change my mind. Although I wish it was november so I can get Phantasy star zero. Trailer Here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rgNcVoxyHAk
@Obsession - not a bad choice....It's super long, I just found the story a bit too uninteresting. The battles were a lot of fun, it just seemed like they went out of the way to structure the game in a way that took too long. Everything takes multiple battles to do and leveling is slow as anything...it does have Hard mode though, which is pretty brutal/satisfying. I second the Phantasy Star Zero comment....I will be playing it nonstop when it drops...and yeah, I don't know much about Pokemon games of any sort....that whole Mystery Dungeon genre isn't all too appealing to me...they all tend to be light on story, and I love me some story in my RPGs. Disgaea DS tends to be cheaper and has tons of gameplay, but NIS games are much more niche than Square-Enix...if you have an entire car trip, you might enjoy Knights in the Knightmare--just be prepared to spend an hour learning it like a language. Also, my buddy got Rondo of Swords cheap and said it's a lot of fun...like crack shining force in his description, but harder. I figured that was covered by the crack part.
R4 is technically legal, but it's kind of like people buying "Water Pipes" for "tobacco" in headshops....everyone knows what they're actually used for 99% of the time. But yeah, they're 100% legal to purchase. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm gonna go smoke some tobacco out of my water pipe.
In response to the first two I would say get Worms:Open Warfare 2. Mario Party is fun if you've got someone to play multiplayer with but the single-player in worms has lots of replayability. Just don't get the first Open Warfare. It's terrible.
I'd only recommend Sonic Chronicles if you care about Bioware's attempt to make the Sonic story understandable (they did a pretty good job). Above it, I'd recommend Sonic Rush Adventure (though you did say you're Sonic'd out), GTA, Bleach: Dark Souls or the Art Style games if you have a DSi.
I use the same username on TVTropes and youtube. look me up!

Im really not a hardcore ds fan. I usually get like 1 or 2 games a year at the most, So I was just looking for a game that would keep me occupied in the car. I love final fantasy games alot, so im sure ill like final fantasy tactics A2. In the 48 hours im not only gonna be playing my ds im gonna be watching a few movies, listening to my ipod, and sleeping. The reason I came here is to ask everybody what game I should get because im ignorant about this stuff. Has anybody played The World Ends with you? Whats it about and is it good? Nights in the nightmare looks fun which is better Nights in the nightmare or Final fantasy tactics A2?
