I don't have really have any experience with music making programs, but I would really like one. Which on is better Korg 10 Plus or Rytmik, and why? I want the one with more options and better sound.
I think the review, or at least the comments on the review page, said something about Rytmik being compared to Korg. Remember that Rytmik is much cheaper.

Check out my review under Rythm Core Alpha. I compared RCA to Rytmik to Korg. Rytmik and Korg are completly different apps. RCA & Korg are closer in terms of how they work. If you have a musical background and are familiar with Synth's, I would say the Korg App, if not RCA and Rytmik are easier to delve into, but are not as powerfull as Korg, IMO.
Like yodude said... if you don't have experience with music making software, then Rytmik is going to be a LOT easier to get into. The sequencer is fairly easy to use, and there are already a bunch of sounds built in to choose from (though personally I'm not very impressed with the selection), making it fairly intuitive to jump right in and start piecing together complete songs. However, the DS-10 is on the whole a much more powerful piece of software, giving you the ability to fully craft your own sounds and tweak various settings on the fly (making it great for live performances), but there's definitely a much higher learning curve if you've never done anything like this. I haven't used Rhythm Core Alpha enough yet to really offer an opinion, but it feels like the middle ground between the two.
Following up to kurtasbestos comment about RCA, RCA is much closer to the Korg DS then Rytmic. Korg and RCA are more like a performing instruments (stand alones), where Rytmik is more akin to a studio software tool where you do drag and drop /piece samples together to create a song.
