I haven't bought any DSiWare games yet because I'm still waiting for more comments from people who did (doesn't have to be reviews, just some amount of information), anyone got comments to share about any games he may have bought?

IGN has reviews up for most of the games.

If you pause and wait for a while on the select sound screen you will hear a rendition of the mario theme. Def. a good buy.

I got Opera, Wario and Code.

Wario is fun but very, very brief, more of a tec demo as to the possibilities of what can be done with the camera for game use, but maybe there is content i've yet to descover or unlock.

Code is pretty simple but challenging, my mental maths is rubbish so i got this to help sharpen it up a bit. I think it might have a bit of depth to it once you get into it.

Well, I bought Aquite after reading the IGN review, it's pretty cool, as the trend is these days the movement and actions make musical sounds so it's pretty interesting sound-wise too but I'm still playing way too randomly, no real planning yet and I always turn the sound off when using a game on the go so that won't be heard much. It's cool how you can influence the block pile with the way the rows you push into are pushed around (e.g. to nudge a block in the row to the side), not just the two or four blocks you add. There seem to be bonuses for combos that happen fast and ones that happen with few moves in between (combos seem to continue even after you make a move so you have a little time to start the next for the time bonus).

Considering to get CODE after seeing the video here, Wario Ware looked too annoying but I'm still trying to decide between those two.

Your signature could not be more true right now

Slight problem - that wasn't sarcasm at all. The last time I remember ign doing good reviews must have been... a short while ago now.

You mean "good" as in "positive" or "well written"?

Very underwhelming DSiWare launch. I only bought Aquia and Pyoro...both of which got old fast. Pyoro is just boring (granted it is only 2 dollars) and Aquia is very easy to exploit which pretty much removes the puzzle/thinking aspect of the game.

Exploit? How so? Haven't played the game yet, but it seems fun.

Basically buton mashing.

You go up and down the column looking for matches of three and then push the blocks over to match them up. I played a timed game on level one where I looked for matches and played normally, which I finished in about 3:30...or you could just hold up and down while mashing the A button and randomly get a match, which happens pretty frequently and I finished level one in 1:30 doing this.

Neither. I don't even go to IGN anymore. They're reviews are not written with the best, um how do I say, finesse? I'm not too keen on written reviews really anyway, but their's are definitely not too good. X_X

Their writing is remarkably poor, but I generally expect that from video game journalism. Happily, this site proves to be an exception.

I am waiting for Dr. Mario to be my first DSiWare game. I would also like to see a review on the Brain Age Express Math, but 800 points seems a bit steep.

According to IGN it's basically all the Math related games from BA 1 & 2...with a few more features liek a photo to go along with your profile.

i bought warioware snapped despite negative reviews. i didn't regret it. doesn't have much depth or replay but its worth getting out to make a fool of yourself and now and then.

I am a little disappointed with the games available at launch in the UK, and also the games that are possible being released as well?

From what I read on here we are going to have to pay 200 points for solitaire, which although isnt breaking the bank is just naughty and it should be a free application! A good proportion of people buying the DSi this soon will have had the DS/Lite previously so we know all about the Brain training games, so why they have to rehash them and try and sell them to us again I dont know!! And to make it even worse, the rehash of Dr. Mario is not going to even have online multiplayer?!!

Very disppointed with the software.....

(Love the DSi though, the Wii type menu system makes me smile!! )

I'm not all that impressed with the titles released so far ... think I'll hold onto my points until something more worthwhile comes out. However, I must say that I am so glad now that I waited for the DSi instead of getting a DS a few months back like I wanted to. I'm really impressed with this little machine.

Paper Plane is probably my favourite of the launch titles. I carry on putting that on to waste 5 minutes. It works. Every time. Too well.
