It's really hard to choose just one, so Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy III and Yoshi's Island DS, probably. It only just occurred to me now that I typed this that they're all remakes in one way or another XD

Nightwalker

I'm yet to play many of the games I know to be great, but so far, I give my vote to Bowser's Inside story, a captivating, hilarious and complete RPG experience in the wacky Mario world. Who could ask for more?

Phantom Hourglass for me, though I've not played too many DS games.

I love Windwaker and of course Zelda, and this did a good look of porting a Windwaker-ish experience to the handheld. The stylus controls works surprisingly well and there was a decent amount of exploration. I usually play my DS in short bust but this was hard to put down.

Here's my EDITED Top Ten:
1. Mario & Luigi Bowser's Inside Story- Simply amazing. Excellent LOL-worthy script and innovative gameplay.
2. Okamiden- A charming game that is incredibly faithful to the original, both graphically and storyline-wise. Its just an amazing experience.
3. WarioWare DIY- Probably the DS game with the most limitless content available. I'm sure I've put in well over 100 hours creating and playing my own microgames. They take awhile to complete, but its worth it. Watching my HeroQuest series come into action for the first time definitely gave me a smile.
4. Zelda Spirit Tracks- Creative puzzles and dungeons as well as a cool way of transportation. My second-favorite handheld Zelda.
5. Advance Wars Dual Strike- I remember logging in well over 100 hours with this game. It's just SO addicting.
6. Animal Crossing Wild World- A life sim that you simply can't put down because... well I don't know but you just CAN'T!
7. Pokemon HeartGold/SoulSilver- The definitive Pokemon experience, especially with those ingenious Pokewalker accessories.
8. Dragon Quest Heroes Rocket Slime- I remember clearly the first time I beat this game at a hotel. It's pretty short, but a great, fun experience. Ah, the good times...
9. New Super Mario Bros.- A fun experience that really shows you why old-school is still great.
10. Retro Game Challenge- An extremely fun game with 8 retro-inspired titles to boot. If you don't have, I highly recommend you buy it for the $20 price tag right now!

As always, the order is constantly changing in my mind, but for now this is the order. And kudos to Advance Wars Days of Ruin and Call of Duty MW Mobilized, who were knocked out of the list this time. Kudos should also go to Chrono Trigger, since it was the DS version that I first played and finished it on, though I like to consider it an SNES game.

^I've only played half of those, but the ones I have played (6-10) I definitely agree are kick-A titles. The rest I either need to get my hands on, or I need to start playing them.

Indeed, you MUST try Okamiden and WarioWare DIY! They are both amazing games! I bought DIY last year in March and I am STILL playing it. As for Okamiden, its every bit as good as the original, if not a bit better in terms of story. But yeah the other three are also amazing, needless to say.
