Personally I'd like them to explore an older period in Pokemon History. It would also be good if you weren't always a 10 yr old kid in each game. They do have adults in the Pokemon world so why is the player always so young? They need to bring back the concept of making Pokeballs too. I really liked that idea in Gold and Silver.

Howabout make that adult your father in aprevious region? That would be cool playing as Red or Gold's Dad or even as Norman. They could also change the landscape to make it look older and such.
Well, the hyper beam shot through Deoxys and destroyed a small building (or structure) in the background and left a huge streak on the ground. That's not violent. That's just wicked!
For you, the day LordJumpMad graced your threads, was the most important day of your life. But for me, it was Tuesday. [url=http://www.backloggery.com/jumpmad]Unive...
-3D graphics -third person camera -free custom character creation (not miis) -a lot of online stuff (even a MMORPG town or something like that) -all the regions (Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh and Unova) -ALL pokémons until Black/White (forget about new pkmns) -Pokémon Stadium battle style (but faster and updated of course) -and the same old franchise style (pick one of three pkmns in the region you chose, fight through gyms, capture pkmns, fight other trainers, fish, ride a bike, fly, swim, go to the other continents, fight thousands of trainers and gym leaders...)
/ dream game, omg, I'd buy it even if it was $100
Ok, I think this is too much, but maybe it's possible with 8GB cartridges...
A remake of every generation in one game, with a few tweaks. Like 3d graphics, Pokemon Stadium-like battles (but fast and updated), EVERY pokemon, and a new starter in every region. But, I don't know about Lugia fighting a Ratatat... Also! A few friends of mine and I came up with Pokemon Orange and Purple. I'll post the deats in a while.
I actually like the idea earlier about a Universal version of Pokémon and I have a few things to add onto this as well as the idea of a new Pokémon Snap gave me some ideas as well. If they were ever to makea Universal version, they should allow you to chose your home region to start in. Taking an idea from P0okémon snap, yes, VirtualWorld environments could do a lot of good here so as you're encountering Pokémon in their natural habits, and perhaps not just their habitats but for NPCs who aren't trainers but raise and/or manage them alternatively. This could be another possability for players as well which may yet give them unthought of alternatives to gaining experience or training them, I dunno. I also feel that maybe there should be some type of always online type of thing going on, I dunno how this could be handled. As for PVP battles in this manner, because somehow i've always disliked the idea of having PVP battles and neveer gaining any experience from it, it just never made any sense to me ever, perhaps limit players to 1 PVP battle per trainer (Meaning whomever you encounter and wish to battle, you only get 1 battle with them for each day, or however long would would be fairy decided, to battle them, but doesn't limit you from PVP battles with other people following the same rules.) each day or something so as not to cause any suspicious or supposed cheating to gain experience faster. Then again, I'd always figured a Universal version would always be best suitable for perhaps a console MMORPG type deal, and espeically have real, actual scheduled events to participate in for prizes and stuff. Now as for Pokémon Snap, I've probably mentioned this somewhere before on the forums that to amp the series a bit more suitable for the 3DS, I'd perferrably take the idea finding Pokémon in their natural habitats just as they were to appear in Snap, but taking a page out of Invisimals' page on the PSP, be the factor that you're finding them AR-like, in the real world, as they should naturally appear, capturing, training, etc. AR battling is a must as well; Forget about them standing around throwing non-contact sissy attack effects at 1 another and taking it. Textures should also be amped to look a bit more realistic; Forget the flat non-textured old appearances that N64, GameCube, and Wii gave them. In fact, I'd actually love nothing more than if they were to ever revamp them all to look as realistic as possible, maybe here and there without changing complete physique, I dunno, even the 1s people might find impossible to be real. Ah man, the possabilities are endless.......ENDLESS I say!

I'm honestly hoping that they'll release the original Pokemon games for the 3DS virtual console, and somehow make them compatible with each other, and they will be somehow compatible with the newer games..... yeah that probably won't happen.
Frankly I'm hoping for a new rumble. Maybe one with a mystery dungeon like story, and with level ups instead of having to get new pokemon on every new floor. Plus haveing all the pokemon from all generations would help,
All the children try to run, To him its part of the fun. His branching arms are for collecting, His face is empty of expressing. He sometimes hums a lowly drone, He will wander 'round your home. Dressed in darkest suit and tie, He won't let you say goodbye.
I really want a 3D world. I think they can make it retain something of that familiar Pokémon vibe by using cell-shaded graphics. That would be awesome! The Pokémon would look like they do in the cartoon.
And why not have each game take place in a different region with its own story but with the same Pokédex. That'd be awesome. Remember The Legend of Zelda Oracle of Ages/Seasons. That idea could be applied to Pokémon as well.
You should have the ability to catch other trainer's Pokemon
Why in the world would you wanna catch (steal) other trainers' Pokémon? Players couldn't really make them Shadow like they were in Colosseum and XD so there's really no point to it, plus they're not wild Pokémon either. Think what everyone's reaction would be with their hard earned training for each of their Pokémon, only to end up losing 1 or more, thus forcing them to look for a new 1 of the same 1 they lost and have to redo the process. Sorry, this just sounds like a rather bad idea.

For main game I've always wanted to see fully 3D game that's like all the other main games with all the regions in one game. Battle system could be like in Stadium or something like in SSB series in full 3D. What if your Pokémon could leave if it doesn't feel happy with you? :S
I want to go to Johto again (even though it's been revisited thanks to the amazing HGSS).
I can't get enough of that region. Oh, and I want to know what's west of Cianwood City because I heard stories in game of there being a war between Johto and the region to the west over territory.
