I don't know if it is just my eyes but the image quality seems to "improve" when the 3D is turned on. The images are sharper and the colour are more vibrant.....or do I need to pay a visit to my optometrist?

Your eyes are fine, Kevin.

You are what you eat from your head to your feet.

the colours look more vibrant because the screen gets a little brighter when 3D is on. at least that's what i think

The screen gets even brighter when you unlock the 6th brightness with the AC/charger adapter plugged in....only with the original model. The dimmer XL doesn't apply. And yes, with 3D enabled the visuals do look sharper so that's another good reason to keep 3D on.

Keeping the 3D on while playing rune factory 4 is going to make me wanna stab my eyeballs with toothpicks.
