I know there are alot of Pokémon X and Y threads, and already a nuzlocke challenge thread, but before you rage on my thread read this:
This thread is for those who finished Pokémon X, or Y, and thought it was too easy, and decided it needed an extra challenge. It's also a thread for people to document their adventure, or give suggestions for special rules
Just a reminder for those who know about Nuzlocke, and forgot the basic rules or are hearing about it for the first time:
Rule1. Always nickname your Pokémon
Rule 2. A fainted Pokémon is a dead one you must either release it or set it in a special box for dead Pokémon
Rule 3. You can catch ONLY the first pokémon you meet in ANY area if you faint it no more chances.(You may get another chance if the pokémon in a new area is the same Pokémon you caught in the last area.)
Rule 4. If you lose a Pokémon battle it's a game over. ( What you do from there is your choice.)
Rule 5. Any new rules made must only be to make the game more difficult.
I saw some speed runners in twitch do a "wonder trade race" pretty much they trade there starters and the fossil. (up to 3 times if you get a bad pokemon)
Its very interesting.
basically you're turning this into a fusion of Pokémon with classic Fire Emblem, removing the strategy part, forcing the player to chose names for their team and adding a very specific rule for "Recruiting units"
sounds cool, sadly I still don't have Pokémon X/Y I just found this thread interesting

I didn't make this challenge up it's been around since Ruby, and Saphire.
The reason why you nickname your Pokémon is to form a stronger emotional bond or whatever (that's what it said on the Nuzlocke website.) making it harder when you loose them, and if you think about it this can be very beneficial for strengthening your battle strategy with Pokémon that are considered weak or useless.

so this challenge is old! I didn't know, it was hard enough for me to beat my friend in his secret base at the times of RSE(that crazy AI was stronger than him! )

^ I didn't..... and the only gen I skipped was the 5th... I knew all pokémons by Number AND name until 3rd gen and only by name in the 4th, used to do EV training and all... the only things about Pokémon I disliked were Pokémon Dash and the Anime(after johto when it all became just the same I always tried to watch again and always heard that ash lost yet again in the end and that even the jokes were the same that not to say how horrible was the PT-BR dub making me give up)
just to add I might be a fan but I'm no fanatic worshipper(not since I was 14 anyway) and if someone says that I don't like Pokémon enough to be a fan I'll tell them to forget I ever said I'm a fan or even to call me a poser

You learn something new everyday. This is the first time hearing about this and I been a fan since 1998. I wonder if it's that well known.
