Yeah, made a typo/small mistake. But basically, Groudon goes from being Ground to Fire/Ground when it goes Primal. So perhaps Solgaleo and Lunala could get a type switch too.
Groudon was the pokemon that I always felt should have been fire type. It's just that a fire / ground dual type would have gotten stomped even worse by Kyogre.
So have we seen any conclusive evidence that Pokemon from previous generations will be able to be found in the wild before the post game?
Salamence and Gengar were seen in the trailer. However, those two were clearly wild battles due to the lack of a trainer in the background, and I sincerely doubt you can find those two in the wild. I think it's more likely that they were used for the purposes of the trailer. It wouldn't be the first time they've done that.
@IceClimbers The recent trend has been a melting pot of previous generations, so I don't see why not. X&Y in particular had fantastic availability.
Gens 3 and 4 were really more of the exception in a way. Gen 2, 5 (at least in the sequels), and 6 all had pretty significant inclusions of previous generations.
As for wild Gengar and Salamence, I doubt that those would be wild battles, but that's happened before in Gengar's case. Gen 4 allowed you to find wild Gengar in the Rotom house if you had a GBA Pokemon title in your DS.
We don't really know if every battle will have the trainer visible, but we do know that those videos were likely just dev trickery... They usually put these impossible battle scenarios in their trailers.
@IceClimbers We've seen plenty of ''old-gen'' Pokémon in the trailers by now; Meowth was in it, Slowpoke, Luvdisc and Corsola were in the latest trailer. That hotel from the concept art was decorated with ''old-gen'' water Pokémon. Therefore I think it's safe to assume that you can find older Pokémon as well. The Pokédex is split up in four parts this time, so I really doubt they're able to fill all of that with just new Pokémon.
Here's a picture of the supposed leaked final evolution of the starters. Keep in mind that they could be fake though, many claim the same thing already and are probably fake too.
@Meowpheel Yeah, I thought the same about them, however mega swampert and meganium also look a bit gendered in my opinion, not as much as this water type though.
@Octane They probably are but I can't assure anything.
@DefHalan I think the grass type looks great and while the others aren't appealing to me they are good designs in my opinion. The fire type reminds me of mega swampert because of the body and as Meowpheel said, the water one is too gendered for my taste.
@roy130390 I think ot is mostly the Fire evolution that I have a problem with. It seems really lazy. Just throw on some muscles and make it bigger. Reminds me a lot of Embor, who I also didn't like that much lol
People keep saying the Xbox One doesn't have Backwards Compatibility.
I don't think they know what Backwards Compatibility means...
@DefHalan I also dislike emboar, but his shiny colors are quite good in my opinion though. Then again, with charizard X you get the awesome blue flames with black skin, but I prefer charizard Y specially in his shiny version. So much contradiction lol.
@Meowpheel Maybe it's because of the tone of green and pink they used with meganium, but in comparison wi.th the other grass starters I do see it gendered. However, this water starter is in a whole new level similar to lopunny and milotic. I just wish the final evolution of the owl ends looking similar to this, I really liked it lol.
