Any news this game uses the gyroscopic tilt cxontrol method at all? I noticed from the footage that the analogue pad and R and L buttons are used - but I'd like a choice of the differing control methods. Even if tilt effects the 3D sweet spot.

I've been researching this game a lot, and the demos so far definitely didn't have tilt controls.
I know that a one to one style (like Island Flyover in Wii Sports Resort) would directly clash with stereoscopic 3D, but I think it would be a real shame if they didn't have optional tilt controls for the plane and hand-glider simply because they wanted to encourage 3D use so much.

Didn't notice any tilt controls. Honestly, the less tilt when using 3D the better, and you're going to want to use 3D for PilotWings. Impressions posting tomorrow morning!

Yeah, what was Nintendo thinking when they put the tilt sensors in the 3DS??? Not compatible with parallax barrier display, dudes!

Put your analyst on danger money, baby.

It is odd to add a system feature that goes against another feature making them useless to one another if you want to use one, but whatever.

I think you can comfortably treat them as individual and SEPERATE features tbh

The motion and tilt features I think make the Augmented Reality games possible enables them to keep track of your location and orientation I assume - that's a big plus .

I've heard some people say that the 3D doesn't work very well in this game. Is this true, for anyone who has played the game?

I've actually heard the opposite. Everything I've read says the sense of depth really adds a lot to the experience here.

Awesome, I can't wait to read it. I mean, I've already bought it of course, but more info to hold me through until release is perfect.

After playing it a bit, if there was one thing I could change it would be the camera angle for landing the hang glider something like The Rocket Belt Auto camera option. The hang glider can drop altitude at a steeper rate then what you see in camera. Instead of focusing just on the target I think the camera should adjust based on when you hit the "b" button.
