I didn't get one neither, maybe they didn't send the codes out yet.

Having downloaded Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate though, it might increase my chances.

I didn't see the NA direct, but apparently the demo will have local and online* play. There will be a tutorial for beginners and 20 or more* quests.
*Needs to be verified

I checked the end of the announcement and I didn't see anything about the number of quests, but there is online, yes.

i did not hear anything about the quests. but online multiplayer is freaking awesome !!

The demo is also coming to the NA. Here's to hoping some of the progress or items you obtained transfers to the full game.
