Topic: Free Roam on 3DS

I have played and seen many free roamers on DS like Cop the Recruit and GTACTW but I havent seen any games of the sort for 3DS yet. Whatever is possible on DS is more able on 3DS. The map on Cop the Recruit was pretty big, around the size of GTA III and GTA Vice City(maybe im getting too excited). As soon as I saw that The Amazing Spiderman for 3ds was not a free roamer like all the other versions, I said What the (insert profanity here). I hope the 3ds could get a free roaming game like a GTA or some other city dweller. I dont know if you'd call LoZ a free roamer, but I want to see a car-jacking city environment with the somewhat chance of shooting people or things.

Chinatown Wars wasn't the best seller on the DS, but if we're lucky, another GTA (or better, a Bully sequel) could happen on the 3DS, but that's extremely optimistic.

I have no opinion on the others since all of the ones I played were complete crap.

we just hope for the developers to make the perfect large world rendering game engine.

well I think planet crashers(a eshop title coming next week)might be a free roamer, something like animal crossing but with RPG features, but on the eshop right now you can get gangsters 2,car jack streets, they are both a GTA spin off and they are dsi ware.

GTA3 port! I want to jack cars and see how many gangsters I can beat up before getting busted/dying, respectively.

What about some really good, deep, long Action RPG's?
the 3DS doesn't have any yet either.
I like China Town Wars. Ithink it didn't sell well because I never saw any adverts for it

I wouldn't mind seeing something like DayZ on the 3DS. But the chance of that happening is slim to none. There are a lot of game genres I would love to see on the 3DS, but I think we're just going to have to be patient and wait for them to emerge unfortunately.

The Wii U one will be open world.
But I doubt the 3DS version will.

GTA3 or GTA SA would be awsome ports for the 3ds! i beat GTA SA on my dreaded PS2(i dont really like sony because of its history with nintendo) and SA was pretty funny at times.

there should be more open world games in general.

i dont understand why gta chinatown wars sold so bad on the DS. that game was great!

Lego Batman 2 also lacked free-roam, even though its Xbox 360 and PS3 counterparts had it.

Its a shame that Saints Row: Drive-by was canceled, now that Saints Row 2 is one of my favorite games.

They port GTA III to iOS and Android, but not to the 3DS and Vita?!?

That's really messed up.
