Protea Prime access tomorrow. I'm really quite excited about this release as she's a frame I've always liked. But I never invest heavily in a frame (supercharge & multiple forma) until the prime version arrives. My rotation for who I use in which mission types is pretty well set. In a game where players have 50+ frames to choose from, every new frame has a tough time making its way into my rotation.
But I feel Protea P could slide into my excavations.

Next devstream is scheduled for the 31st. Very much looking forward to learning more about the next round of heirloom accessories. I felt the first round, Frost and Mag, was grossly overpriced FOMO whale-bait. However, if DE were to offer a samurai themed skin for my beloved Trinity? Well...I don't believe I could resist swiping, for her at least.
But, since she's at the bottom of the play rate chart, Rhino and Ember are more likely.
Continued Trinity disrespect is assumed.

New frame, new weapons. Little more than mastery fodder and helminth food. However, I'm keen to see the status changes. Specifically the buff to magnetic damage. Electricity procs whenever you break a shield and/or overshield? That's extra crowd control, damage, and reach for rapid fire weapons like torid and tenet glaxion.
Semi-auto weapons are suppose to get an option similar to melee, where now melee is automatic.
Should be nice for latron and phenmor fans.

Finished with the update. The changes to enemy damage resistance has made the game easier. Now instead of enemies having tens of thousands of armor for damage reduction, the most armor an enemy can have is 2700. In exchange, enemies now have a higher effective health pool.
Modding for corrosive / cold now feels as good as viral / heat. Statistically, slotting one tauforged green shard for +3 corrosive stack for corrosive / cold is slightly more universally efficient than viral / heat. But it's debatable.
Anywho, Tennocon 2024 is next. July 19th through the 20th. Ember Heirloom Collection on July 18th is hype. DE and Tencent shall have my $25 for that bundle, well played. As for potential Tennocon announcements? I have 50+ forma ready for infested liches.
I assume a kuva / tenet iteration of a Synapse would, if it chains to enemies like Tenet Glaxion, become the second-best beam weapon (behind the Torid) thanks its innate corrosive damage.
This might be the best looking game on switch no one talks about. I want Nintendo to buy panic button so bad. I know they aren’t for sale. I tried getting into this game and it was too confusing and complex for me.
Tennocon 2024 is this week. More info on the 1999 update, as proto versions for Excalibur, Mag, and Volt have all been teased. My hopes are for either information on infested liches and/or more incarnon weapons. Although I doubt anything will push either the Torid or Laetum as the top options, power creep is a thing in Warframe.
What's meta today is typically pushed down a year and a half later.
Beyond that, figure information on the next prime access is due, and too much time will be given to DE's follow up game. Soulframe.
Tennolive 2024 was solid. Confirmed new incarnon weapons, Rhino heirloom collection for 2025, Trinity and Nyx lite reworks, a few updates planned before the end of 2024, and the main thing I was hoping for...Infested Liches. The only questions now are which infested weapons will we be farming and how many?

Sevagoth Prime Access is one week away. Gloom is one of the top abilities of the game, but the rest of his kit does not suit my playstyle. Epitaph Prime is a good weapon, but Vasto is my preferred secondary. And while Nautilus is one of the better sentinels thanks to its Cordon ability, and Verglas is arguably the best passive single-target condition overload primer in the game, they're also both mastery fodder.
Much to my surprise and delight Nautilus Prime and Verglas Prime are not mastery fodder. Nautilus Prime is now the second sentinel (after Wyrm Prime) with enough shield capacity to qualify for Reinforced Bond, an excellent mod that increases fire rate for your primary and secondary. In addition to that, Verglas Prime's stats qualify for Tenacious Bond. Tenacious Bond increases critical damage for all of your weapons.
Aside from that, Maginav Prime signa is...kind of hilarious. When standing still, it has the appearance similar to a baby version of Yareli's board. Instead of on the ground, it hovers above a behind your frame's head. And since your frame dips its head slightly while running...I look like a bird as the signa feathers sway back and forth. It's amusing.
The Navic Prime sentinel accessories are quite nice as well. Perhaps the best sentinel accessories to date if you like bits with large energy plumes (and...I do). Other than that Sevagoth Prime and Epitaph Prime are unimportant to me personally. Gloom is a top tier ability, so naturally Sevagoth is at the very least...good. And I prefer to have pets prime enemies rather using my secondary for that.

Devstream 181 from TGS on Friday. Discussion will include: Release date for the next update, Koumei & the Five Fates. New deluxe skins, new incarnon weapons. Caliban rework + free delivery of said frame to players in the near future. And Companion rework 2.0.
The first part of the Companion rework almost a year ago was quite an improvement.
Taking the options from just two...to every companion being viable to some degree.

Devstream 181 was good, very good in fact. The new frame Koumei has an interesting mix of abilities, although the weapons coming with her are to-be-determined. Same could be said for the five new incarnon weapons: Cestra, Dera, Okina, Sicarus, and Sybaris. Will one of these replace the Torid as the top meta weapon or will they be just be disappointments?
Companions? Smeeta's Charm has been nerfed into the ground, going from exceedingly useful to borderline useless. Many companion abilities are being adjusted and those companions who previously didn't have dedicated weapons (like hounds do) are getting them, and all of their offensive mods are being moved to those weapons.
Reworks? More than Caliban getting a rework. Nova, Hildryn, and Wukong as well. Slamkong will be getting a mild nerf, the slam animation has to fully play out before Cloudwalker can be re-used. Hildryn will be able to use her first ability while flying. And both versions of Nova (Slova and Spova) are being mashed into one as Molecular Prime is being changed to a tap/hold ability, either slowing enemies down or speeding them up without requiring a build change.
All this awesomeness arrives with Wednesday's update.
Devstream 182 this Friday, Infested Liches. I'm more interested in whom the next Prime Access will be for. Lavos, Yareli, or Xaku? The prime rotation of MMFF has been broken, so nobody outside of DE can say for sure who it'll be.
There's no doubt Xaku would be the popular choice, but since the frame is genderless who knows when or if we'll ever get their prime variant.
I'd like to be able to post videos in the Nintendo Life articles and not just the forums. Can anyone help me out with the code? I've tried posting the YouTube embed codes but they don't work for some reason I dont understand.
I tested it and it worked!!! Thank you so much, I really appreciate the help. I struggled with this for a long while!!!
@Magician I've put about 200+ hours into Warframe but I'd still consider myself a newbie, and I just love using Volt. I don't have many of the cards required to even try that build in the video though, and I definitely do not have Wisp.
Devstream 183 next Friday. There's little doubt Update 1999 will go live the following week, maybe the second week of December at the latest. I'd imagine DE would want sometime for hotfixing before they go on extended holiday into 2025.
What to expect with Update 1999? A new frame Cyte-99 along with his weapons. Fifteen new infested lich (Coda) weapons. And the new romance system. As a Trinity main I'm looking forward to spicy-texting Leticia. What can I say? That Sarah Tyrell haircut from Bladerunner does something for me.
We'll also have the Trinity and Nyx rework in our hands.
I'm keen to see if Well of Life's change to AoE rez'ing squadmates will be worthwhile.

Just as I finished Monster Hunter Wilds, my favorite game drops a substantial update yesterday. New frames, new base weapons, new Infested Lich (Coda) weapons, legendary rank five test, and the usual slew of QoL changes.
I'm gear-tight once again 778/778. Now we enter the quiet time of Warframe. Other than a new Prime Access for Yareli somewhere in May, there won't be much added or changed in game until then. Time to get back to tackling the backlog.
