Hi all,

Apologies if this has been asked before.

My daughter has the original Mario Kart 8 for the Nintendo switch. She would like the purchase the booster pack, but I'm slightly confused about the options. I can see there are 2 on the Nintendo shop. Is the only difference that one is digital and one is physical?. It's just I can see they have different release dates. I was holding off last year as I can could see there were updated release dates for extra features, and I wasn't sure if these would be free for people who had already purchased the booster pack.

Hopefully I'm making some sort of sense 🤣

Cheers

@johnd1881 I'm assuming you're looking at the My Nintendo UK store. The £22.49 one is just a download code for the booster pack. The £29.99 one also includes some stickers, pins and art cards. The actual in-game content of both are the same. The only other difference would be that if you just buy the code it should get emailed to you instantly, whereas if you get the physical one you'll obviously have to wait for it to be delivered.

Many thanks for the prompt response.

I did think this was the case. I see Nintendo have added 'waves' over the years to the booster packs. Would I be right on saying you get these free whenever they are released?

Thanks John

@johnd1881 All of the waves have now been released, so whichever you buy you'll get access to all the extra tracks and characters immediately.
