Are there any early-game Rupee dupe glitches??

Are you asking about making rupees in TOTK because the stealth suit armor in kakariko village is crazy expensive? In the beginning of TOTK, one piece of the stealth suit is like an insane 5000 rupees. You can get the price reduced to something normal if you can cook a certain meal and give it to someone in kakariko village.

Austin John Plays covers it. While I don't think the video has spoilers, I'll just paste the link to the video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gF2FxQ-qKsg

@WoomyNNYes I did complete the quest to lower the price, but I still didn;t have enough for that AND the Snowquill set, hence why I wanted to dupe my $$$

@CaleBoi25 Instead of spending time and effort getting glitches to work, you can always do a quick google on lucrative mining runs. There's a great mining run starting at the Kisinona Shrine while making your way Northwest.

Dang it. What is the deal with quest, Riju of Gerudo Town? I've used like 100 arrows shooting gibdos, they never stop comming, and there doesn't appear to be any progress. What the hell? I talk to the characters in the quest and they've got nothing helpful to say. This is ridiculous that I have to go look up the quest on youtube. This is my second time playing this quest.I ended up in the same situation last time. Am I missing some obvious instruction in this mission? I shouldn't have to look this up on youtube

@WoomyNNYes You'll just need to use arrows with Riju's lightning to take out the Gibdo, and then hit the center of the hive with a final blow when prompted. If you run out of arrows, one of the nearby Gerudo warriors will provide you with some more.

Welp I was trying to be more cryptic, but I might as well add that you can also use the cannon to destroy one of the hives (depends on where you place it)

@Eel @ThatZeldaNerd Yeah, I took the riju's directions a bit literally, to "protect" riju and her people. Thankfully the game let me load a previous save to start over. The fight finished pretty quickly after I figured out what was needed - I think I used maybe 20 arrows total. XD

EDIT: So, I completed the Gerudo temple. It was pretty cool. That was the last of the four regional phenomena. I look forward to what comes next. The game told me to go to lookout landing next, I'm guessing to talk to Pura.

Going for the hives as soon as they start glowing will serve you well in the fight against Queen Gibdo too.

TOTK’s celebrating its 1st anniversary and Nintendo’s announced an art book, a 1m Master Sword replica and the official soundtrack to commemorate!

  • Soundtrack’s 9 discs and 344 tracks, my guess is over 12 hours of music.
  • Artbook releases in August, 464 pages, it’s called the TOTK “Master Works”.
  • Master Sword replica and sheath, 105cm.

@jedgamesguy Ohh nice! Master Works is what BotW got, and it's so much more than an Art Book. It's a whole comprehensive lore book as well. Maybe the Western release won't be too far behind.

@VoidofLight @YunoboCo Personally I was worried if it was even possible to do a sountrack given how much dynamic music there is in this game, but it seems like they've managed to edit it into something listenable, especially field and battle music. Very excited to buy the artbook, though I'll likely wait until it gets released in English since I prefer not to use my phone to scan over important developer notes for such a big game.

Beautiful. Man do I hope this gets a release outside of Japan, but there's always importing as a contingency plan.

@jedgamesguy The soundtrack definitely will need to be imported unfortunately, but as others said I'm really crossing my fingers for an English localization! The TOTK collector's edition guidebook sold very well on Amazon last I checked, so I think there's a good chance it will be!

Both products are a must-have for me, although I still need to get around to investing in a proper CD/Bluray media player 😅

@Ulysses I mean, I’d be first in line for the art book, I’m a pathological artbook buyer as it turns out. Bought two Mario books, all three Zelda series ones, Creating a Champion (BOTW), Xenoblade 2, and Horizon Zero Dawn… I’m aching for an English localisation.

Not too pressed about the soundtrack though, I know for sure it’ll be on YouTube before long anyway. Last time I got a CD for a game soundtrack was the sound selections for Xenoblade 2 and before that Twilight Princess, so… a super long time ago!

Oh believe me, I'm totally with you regarding art books. I've got the Journey art book (absolutely gorgeous binding, still one of my favorites), Creating a Champion (royal blue edition), Halo 4, Halo: The Art of Building Worlds, FFXV, and the Japanese-exclusive Pokemon Center art books including Pokemon Let's Go (one of my favorites, such beautiful, gentle brushstrokes for Let's Go's promo art).

I am surprised they're not gonna add a Master Mode at least.

I'm both disappointed and begrudgingly amazed they haven't done DLC for Tears lol

WoomyNNYes

@rallydefault TOTK was supposed to the DLC for BOTW, but it ballooned with so many ideas that they made it it's own game. They certainly milked the crap out of the BOTW map for TOTK. So, I guess that's why they haven't done dlc for TOTK. I assume Nintendo moved onto the next Zelda asap, or the game devs were probably very ready to move onto new Zelda.
