At the end of Pokémon Scarlet & Violet's Victory Road path lies a traditional Pokémon Challenge — The Elite Four. Four of the region's toughest trainers stand between you, the Champion, and the chance to become one of the best trainers in Paldea.
This is a gauntlet of battles, so make sure you bring plenty of potions, ethers, and elixirs with you to survive. Be careful as there are endgame spoilers here — so if you don't want to know who's in the Elite Four, then turn back!
Here's how to become a Champion-ranked Trainer in the Paldea region.

Where to find the Pokémon League
The Pokémon League is situated just outside of Mesagoza.
From the city centre, head northwest towards a red sandwich shop. You'll spot some stairs and a large, open gate. Head through the gates to get to the path to the Pokémon League.
It's just a short walk uphill. And, handily, there's a Pokémon Center right outside for you to stock up on items and heal up.
After some cutscenes, you'll be able to enter the Pokémon League. The League Rep will make sure you have all eight Gym Badges before he lets you inside.
Pokémon League's Champion Assessment Answers
Once inside, approach the desk and sit in front of Rika, who will ask you some questions. Answer them all correctly and you'll be able to take on the Elite Four.
If you fail, don't worry — just head back inside and take the assessment again.
These are the responses you'll need to give:
- How did you get here today? Walked
- Please tell me the name of the school you are enrolled in? Either Naranja (Scarlet) or Uva (Violet) Academy
- So, what brings you to the Pokémon League today? I came to become a Champion
- Now, what do you intend to do if and when you become a Champion? I want to find treasure
- Which of the eight Gyms gave you the most difficulty? You can pick any here, we chose Levincia
- And what was the name of the Gym Leader you faced there? You need to match the Gym Leader with the Gym. As we picked Levincia, we selected Iono
- Do you remember which type of Pokémon Gym Leader used? Again, match the Gym with the type. As we picked Iono, we picked Electric
- What was the category of the Pokémon you chose to be your first partner? The answer depends on your Starter Pokémon choice, e.g. pick The Fire Croc Pokémon if you chose Fuecoco
- Remind me, what do you intend to do if and when you become a Champion? I want to find treasure (you must give the same answer as you did earlier in the interview)
- Do you like Pokémon? Yes
If you've answered everything correctly, Rika will congratulate you and you can walk through the doors to challenge the Elite Four.
You'll be challenged as soon as you enter, so make sure you're healed up.
How to beat Rika of the Elite Four
Rika specialises in Ground-type Pokémon, and her ace — Clodsire — Terastallizes into Ground, doubling its Ground moves.
Water, Grass, and Ice-type moves are your best bet here, but Water is probably the best as Grass is weak to Clodsire's Poison-type moves. Camerupt is 4x weak to Water, while Whiscash is 4x weak to Grass. Quaquavel is a great choice if you chose Quaxley, but consider other strong Water-types such as Tatsugiri, Palafin, and Dondozo. Consider bringing an Arboliva or Grass-type for Clodisre to avoid its Ability Water Absorb.

How to beat Poppy of the Elite Four
Poppy is a cute little kid who likes to use Steel-type Pokémon, and her best Pokémon is Tinkaton, whose Tera-type is Steel.
Fire is a great choice here, and Skeledirge makes a powerful partner, as would Armarouge and Ceruledge — though they will need to be careful of Brozong and Tinkaton. Ground and Fighting are also good, but won't be any good against Corviknight and Bronzong. Lokix is a good choice for Bronzong, while other Fire types like Volcarona, Talonflame, and Arcanine are solid.

How to beat Larry of the Elite Four
Larry is back for a second helping, but this time, he's brought his best Flying-type Pokémon to battle. He's even brought his Gym ace with him, though here, Flamigo and its Flying Tera-type are yours to conquer.
While Electric can be useful here, Rock and Ice-type are the best options here until Larry's ace. Glimmora and Baxcalibur were great for us here. Garganacl and Froslass are two other choices. A strong Bellibolt may be a good option for Flamigo if you're worried about its Fighting-type moves.

How to beat Hassel of the Elite Four
Hassel, the Academy's art teacher, is a Dragon master, so you'll want to bring the best Pokémon with you. His ace is a Baxcalibur that Terastallizes into a Dragon-type.
Dragon is weak to Dragon, so Baxcalibur, Garchomp, and Hydreigon are options. Really, we'd say Ice and Fairy are much better choices — any combination of Tinkaton, Abomasnow, Froslass, Dachsubn, Cetitan, Gardevoir, and Grimmsnarl will work wonders.

Once you've beaten Hassel, you can head through the back doors to fight the Top Champion of Paldea!
How to beat Top Champion Geeta
Geeta, like many other Champions, doesn't stick to a single type on her team. That means she's got an eclectic mix of Pokémon. Essentially, you just need a strong team in the low 60s with great type coverage. Easy, right?
Geeta's ace is Glimmora, who Terastallizes into a Rock-type. Bring a strong Fighting type like Gallade. Ghost is good for a few Pokémon here — Skeledirge and Ceruledge also cover off her multiple Fire weaknesses while also having the Ghost moves. In fact, all three starters get good coverage here, so they'll likely be heading up your team.

If you manage to beat Geeta, you'll earn the rank of Champion! But Victory Road isn't over yet — there's one final battle.
How to beat Champion Nemona
After defeating Geeta, Nemona will challenge you to one last fight — and she won't hold back. Meet her in the centre of Mesagzoa for the final fight of Victory Road.
You've fought Nemona plenty of times throughout Victory Road, but now she finally doesn't need to hold back. Her team is varied, with her ace being the starter that's initially weak to your starter. Though they all have a type advantage over your starter with their secondary type.
Ground and Fighting-type are two of Nemona's most-consistent weaknesses. Annihilape, Pawmot, Clodsire cover these well. Tinkaton, with Fairy and Steel moves, is good for Lycanroc and Goodra, while Baxcalibur is also a great addition for Ice-type moves. And your starter should be part of your team, ideally, so you can hit back at Nemona's starter with your Tera-type

Espathra type is psychic type not flying/dragon just want to let everyone know that
In the first question I chose in my pokemount and i didn't fail
Also I chose keep improving in the fourth one
The hardest gym for me was the water type gym of kofu, the rest were fairly easy crabominable took out almost all of my Pokemon, i defeated it with jumpluff and i only bought her to the gym just in case cause she was my pokemon for capturing not battling
Anyone else sweep the elite four and champion on their first try. They were the most disappointingly easy elite four and champion ever.
I swept the 4 and the champ. I only got one level out of the 4. I beat it with my level 85 team of Skeledirge, Baxcalibur, Annihilape which I think has pretty much always been my most useful PKMN, Grafaiai, Revavroom, and Tinkaton. I beat the Mystica Path of Legends at level 70 and Cassiopeia Starfall Street at level 80 and then I beat the game today the Way Home path to the credits. I played the Violet version. I beat it at level 87. I never even trained using the Chansey Sandwich method. I trained using my method of fighting Tatsugiri on Casseroya Lake. In PKMN Scarlet/Violet what I think the Story Orders are from Worst to Best are 1.Gyms 2.Titans 3.Cassiopeia and then 4.The Way Home with AI Turo who is the last boss. (He is the first decent challenge in a PKMN game in a long time even if you are over leveled) It is more of Arven's story but with help from other friends too because I find Arven annoying.
You don't even have to be that high level to take down the elite 4 and the top champion. I took them down with 55-65 leveled pokemon, and I didn't use super effective moves a lot.
I also never had to use my tera orb
