I really love how since 3D World the artwork of Mario has reverted to a style similar to the classics.

I dunno. I'm really convinced there'll be one for the 18, the final day of the Year of Luigi.

Recently played it with my girl on our 2nd date. It was pretty fun, not quite as fun and charming as the main Mario Kart games, but we just kept finding ourselves coming back to it again and again.

@sinalefa Hopefully it isn't. According to Inafune, the games been done for quite a while, its just the publishers that haven't gone through with releasing it yet for some reason.

Seems like every week a whole line-up of new indie games are announced for Wii U. It's really nice to see support.

Nice to see 3DS still hold up strongly in sales compared to PS4.

These 2 games feel more suited to 3DS.

@bizcuthammer The only thing is that Wind Waker HD only took a couple months and was done by a team consisting mostly of people uninvolved in the main Zelda development team.

Say what you will about Wii U's 3rd party support, but 1 thing that's absolutely true, is that the Wii U & Nintendo have absolutely captured the love and attention of indie's from all over!

In just these past 3 days alone we got Hush, forma.8, Sword & Soldiers II, Aqua Moto Racing Utopia, and Affordable Space Adventures confirmed for Wii U.

If they do announce a Super Mario Galaxy 3, then they better give us Super Mario Galaxy 1 + 2 HD Collection.

And as for the poll, it's a tough tie between Xenoblade & Skyward Sword. But I would much rather see Xenoblade's gorgeous landscapes in crisp HD!

Bought a $50 card today. I'm gonna save up the cash for when games like Shovel Knight, Scram Kitty, Treasurenauts, Wooden Sen'SeY, and Q.U.B.E. drop on into the eShop.

@6ch6ris6 Yes, but only special Miiverse users can post videos. Such as game devs sharing a trailer to a new game, or Iwata posting the latest Nintendo Direct, or some other Nintendo employee sharing some feed from gaming events such as E3.

The game is topping charts for pre-orders on several different Amazon sites. Hopefully it sells better in those territories than Japan.

PC & Smartphones allow literally ANYTHING. No matter how poorly made, so no surprise most people would flock to those devices. And in the end, 3DS still has a fantastic library that isn't going change anytime soon and Wii U has a fantastic line-up of quality indie titles. So no worries.

PC & Smartphones have been most popular amongst devs for years, and that hasn't stop the quality stream of games coming to Nintendo platforms.

I'd get it simply for collection purposes just as I did with New Super Luigi U and DuckTales Remastered on physical disc.

With all these indies, the Wii U will become some sort of indie, hipster console!

While the new Direct didn't show any exciting new games for Wii U, it certainly did build up hype for what we already know is coming soon! Those trailers to Mario Kart, Bayonetta, Donkey Kong, Smash Bros, and X really got me pumped!

That reminds me, I still want to train a Carbink!
