I guess it’s only original series games but I’d like to see GX Dual Academy return, I do enjoy that game.

@Gryffin No some of them like Dungeon Dice Monsters are fundamentally completely different games just with Yu Gi Oh! Monsters and Characters.

as a person with casual interest, the raw list of games with no release years or platforms doesnt give me anything to grab onto, here.

Yugioh has changed and not for the better tbh. This early days collection might be what I need .

I enjoyed Yugioh all the way until the whole meta decks and multiple moves in one turn. Especially link and pendulum summoning. Just not as fun anymore now. I liked it all the way up to Synchro summoning.

Worldwide edition, day 1 buy

@anoyonmus I too liked it up till Synchro summoning. It was fun and chaos. Now it's botherline boring and unfun to play.

It's one person taking like 40 mins summoning their entire deck in one turn and somehow not decking out or someone with one Magic or trap that has like 20 effects all in one.

I'll bite when it's down to $20. $50 for 14 games of which only 4 I'd actually wanna play is not worth it, and that's not even touching on the fact Yugioh games make you grind like crazy for anything decent. But Konami knows these Collections are easy money; as long as this does more than break even we'll see ones for the Tag Force games and the weird ones like Forbidden Memories and Duelist of the Roses within a few years.

@Gryffin More or less, Dungeon Dice is a different game using dice while Destiny Board is basically a YGO Mario Party without the minigames.

Scared Cards and its sequel do at least have an explorable world to find duelists to challenge and a story.

The rest are pretty much TCG simulators. Some basic, some with a story.

I was going to buy it regardless, but Dungeon Dice Monsters? Sweet.

I might pre-order and keep it unopened.

With so many games, I can see it a few years down the track keeping it's worth or even increasing it.

Good to see it on there, I was skeptical on if they'd add that one.

Bit of a weird spot as I believe this a good sign for a PSP/ DS collection and then a 6th gen collection much like the castlevania legacy games we've been getting lately.

I would say support this release so it's more likely those collection become a reality but Konami is hard to back sometimes.

A 6th gen collection with: Falsebound Kingdom, Duelist of the Roses, Monster Colisseum, Tag Force Evolution and Dawn of Destiny would be pretty cool though! Modding scene for Roses would be great on PC.

Fourteen games?! Now I’m rethinking tracking down all the originals with my brother…As much as we love finding old games like these, this seems much more cost effective.

So it's a Gameboy collection, was hoping it would have the PS2 games and maybe some DS ones as well. Heck throw in some Tag Force games and it would have been day one.

If this list is real, I will absolutely be getting this.

@anoyonmus Perhaps it's because I got in recently, but I absolutely love the chaos of modern YuGiOh. The mind games you can play are very vast, and can make you feel like a 4D chess player.

@JohnnyMind I think they were probably guaranteed anyways, since these were the days when YuGiOh still had the legacy of being SaW at a casino at the time. yup, that's the origins of this franchise. Even Konami was trying to turn YuGiOh into an entire table top brand at the time before defaulting to duel monsters.

It makes you wonder if they plan on reviving that idea of making more board games out of YuGiOh.

Does anyone know if the multiplayer works on any of these?

Having only experienced Yu-Gi-Oh! through the 4Kids version of the anime, how much do these games align with the rules as seen on it?
Specifically with the rules of Duelist Kingdom and Battle City, as those were the arcs I probably have watched them most, so I'm most familiar with those rules.

That's a good list, but I was always more partial to the Tag Force games. I hope Yu-Gi-Oh fans get to Dududududududuel.

The game in the anime/manga wasn't made by a game designer, if we take real life into consideration. If you were to use the card game from the anime, it would be horribly unbalanced as many players of the game would tell you. More than half of the things you've seen were done mostly for drama.

These games rely more on the Konami TCG rules and regulations, which will have familiar elements from the anime like graveyards and such, but retooled by actual game designers to be fair and somewhat strategic, give or take some potential gacha luck because card game.

These games probably have tutorial modes anyways, so you'll get use to classic era YuGiOh. Play Master Duel if you want a more modern experience.

Dungeon Dice Monsters on GBA was absolute crack when I was 11-years old. I really wish someone, anyone would revisit the core mechanics and make a new game with them.

Available in one game at launch, others will get support added for free after release.

Seems like the games that had multiplayer over link cable will have online multiplayer in this, but they won't add multiplayer to games that didn't have it.

Worldwide Edition: Stairway to the Destined Duel is easily my favourite and could be the reason i consider it. I liked the amount of cards on offer and the way characters were generally handled.

I’ll get this Game Boy collection. Only ever owned Eternal Duelist Soul.
