Ready for another top-five list? Of course, you are.
Recently, the stupendous Felix went through his top five Switch games of 2023, and now it's Zion's turn. If you remember what we said in our previous article, there will be no crossover between the lists presented by our wonderful video team, so Zion's list is going to be completely different from Felix's.
There are some absolute bangers here, so we won't spoil it beforehand; just watch the video if you want to find out what Zion has chosen. Tomorrow, we'll check back to find out what the lovely Alex has chosen for his top five, so you won't want to miss that one, either.
Based on Felix and Zion's lists, do you have any predictions?

For those who couldn’t be bothered with the video.
tl;dw
1. FE Engage
2. Bomb Rush Cyberfunk
3. Sea of Stars
4. WarioWare: Move It!
5. TLoZ: TotK
Video only? Hard pass.
I'm so glad to hear that FE:Engage has found its own fans - usually in "alternate lists" like this one, but nevertheless.
It is an exceptionally good FE game.
I was never a fan of the cringy teen drama in Three Houses, so I really appreciate FE:Engage to dial it back. Its over the top story is almost like a parody of Three Houses: totally forgettable, but totally amusing if you don't take it seriously.
Honestly: FE games stories were never about the seriousness / grim reality of war — if you want this kind of story, you'd better be playing Tactics Ogre or Final Fantasy Tactics or even Triangle Strategy. FE game stories are your typical zero-to-hero shonen manga material, giving some context between the excellent tactical encounters... and FE:Engage delivers this in spades.
Sad to write this now, but war has never been so much fun than in this game.
Three Houses for me was more of a kindergarden sim then a tactics game. Devs totally lost focus of what this game should have been.
Engage brought back the series to where it belongs. Fortunately.
@duerer
FE Engage is just a fun game that doesn't take it's story all that seriously and it's meant to be a throwback to the series' roots which a lot people didn't seem to understand.
I still love Three Houses but I also love Engage for it's superior gameplay and MCU like plot.
Thank you Locky, it's like you read my mind. I was interested and then saw video only..... nope, I'm good.
@duerer It's funny that you mention that Fire Emblem is not about seriousness/grim reality of war because that literally what Three Houses was lol. Engage was definitely more cringe worthy than Three Houses which took itself way more seriously than this game.
@Coxula I agree that I am not interested in the social aspects of FE...but I did call that they'd be selling character DLC as soon as I heard that they were being created by a vtuber creator. My terminology may be off. I'm not a huge fan of some of the Emblem designs, but it's an incredible game.
I can't watch him. Xeon is not good at this job in my opinion.
