We have a rather delicious dish ready for you today, folks. Publisher Nacon has exclusively shared with us the debut footage of Chef Life: A Restaurant Simulator on Switch, with the game scheduled to launch on February 23rd, 2023 in Europe and March 28th, 2023 in North America.
The trailer is quite clever, all told, showcasing a woman sitting in a restaurant and seemingly directly controlling the chef with her Switch while he prepares her dish. Peppered in between are short snippets of footage from the Switch version of the game, but we get a real good portion to chew on closer to the end.
It's looking pretty neat so far, so if you're a bit of a foodie and fancy yourself as the next Michelin-starred chef, then it's definitely one to keep an eye on. The good news is that a physical edition will also be on the way in the form of the 'Al Forno Edition', so that's nice!
We'll keep you updated on news for Chef Life: A Restaurant Simulator as and when we get it.
Will you be picking this one up when it launches on the Switch? Let us know in the comments below.

Looks promising, though I hate the practice of day one DLC, if that's essentially what this "Al Forno" content is. I'm just hoping that it's all on the cart.
There's also Hotel Life and Train Life expected to be released sometime this year (by the same publisher/devs?). I'm a little disappointed with the lack of quality business/management sims on Switch, so I'm hoping that these will scratch that itch.
Not sure if I'll ever get it, but still love to see it has the potential to be a great simulator for those interested!
Does it also simulate a terrible boss, overwork, minimum wage, and rude customers?
As a Chef of 25yrs this is more like a horror game. somewhere there should be a PTSD meter, injury counter and illicit substance abuse meter. Then it would be a true simulator of cooking. No one should cook for a living it's the worst.
@Sisilly_G Hotel Life is in development by RingZero Game Studio, while Train Life is by Simteract. All these plus others come under the same Nacon Life Games label. I'm hoping more of them start showing themselves since they all seem full of promise.
