It's been announced that Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes has now surpassed 1 million units shipped worldwide, marking a significant milestone for the latest entry from developers Omega Force and Team Ninja.
The achievement encompasses sales across physical and digital formats, though it's currently not known what the sales split is across the various territories. What's noteworthy, however, is the milestone has seemingly been reached much quicker than the game's predessecor, Fire Emblem Warriors, which reached 1 million units shipped roughly 7 months after its launch in September 2017. Three Hopes, on the other hand, launched a little less than 2 months ago in June 2022 (with no 3DS version, either!).
To celebrate the milestone, a pretty swanky PC wallpaper is being gifted which depicts all characters from each class in the game. You can download the image via the above Twitter thread.
In our review of the game, we noted that the game "improves upon its 2017 predecessor in several ways, most notably in providing a far more engaging story featuring a narrative that's ripe for several replays", awarding it a score of 9/10.
If you want to try before you buy, of course, you can download a demo of Three Hopes from the eShop right now.

I'm quite surprised! Haven't got around to buying it yet but I'm sure the demo helped
Nice milestone!
I’ll buy it but I’m still completing Age of Calamity and I would also like to complete three houses first.
My job is getting in the way….
Nintendolife, are you hiring for a reviewer or a guide writer perhaps 😁?
I wonder how many copies Xenoblade Chronicles 3 has sold because it is a brilliant game!
Great news! It's a fantastic game!
Wow that's impressive! I tried the demo and unfortunately it didn't click for me but congratulations to the devs regardless.
This is one of those games I really want to play but has slipped through my fingers thanks to the avalanche of other games that have released. I'm sure I'll get to it eventually however.
I need to get back to playing it. Was very much enjoying it but it kind of fell by the wayside for me due to coming out the same day as Nirvana Initiative.
@Lizuka Luckily in Europe AINI released 2 weeks later so I at least had time to finish the Golden Wildfire Route before AINI released lol
I am currently playing through it. As of now, it's the second-best Warriors game I've played, only behind the original Hyrule Warriors for me. It's excellent so far.
I’m def buying this at some point
Fire Emblem and Musou goes so well together if done right. Three Hopes definitely should had been the game that the first FEW should had been, I'm glad it's a success this early on.
Good to hear, I recently purchased it, but life keeps me busy. Looking forward to going through all route in co-op with my wife!
That’s great! Hopefully that just means we’ll keep getting new fire emblem stuff haha
People will buy anything with the nintendo logo on it nowadays I guess
Great to hear. Such a great game and I really enjoyed the story, at least the Black Eagles route.
@nkarafo Definitely more than Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes, since it charted higher in every country that there are sales charts for and sold way more in the countries we get any numbers for.
Good for them.
Had a great time with it. Done two runs and saving the third for later down the line. It has its faults, which I hope some dlc down the line will address, but it's by far the most fun I have had with a musou.
I would really encourage anyone even mildly curious to give the demo a go, it will give you a good taster.
This game deserves much success! One of my favorite titles on the console which is under the original game being my favorite
Koei Tecmo and Nintendo are on a two-win streak of record-breaking successes for their collaborations on the Musou games. I honestly can't wait to see what's next in store.
Game runs a lot better then AoC so not surprised
