You know that thing where you're throwing a party for nerds, and at some point the idea of playing a game comes up, and no one wants to play anything too intense like Mario Kart, so the solution is almost always Jackbox games? But then you have to choose which Party Pack is best, or which individual game is best (and which Party Pack it's in), and uuuuggggghhhh? And then everyone leaves the party because you all divide into the Quiplash faction, the Drawful faction, and the "we like trivia" faction?
Anyway, now you won't have to have these schisms any more, because Jackbox has finally created The Jackbox Party Starter Party Pack, which includes three of the all-time faves: Quiplash 3, Trivia Murder Party 2, and Tee K.O.
There are also new features: a Moderation feature for Quiplash 3, which lets you filter responses before putting them on screen, plus a new round called Thriplash, where players have to input three phrases each, and new surprises and localised languages for all three games.
Here's the blurb for each one:
QUIPLASH 3:
Players enter a head-to-head battle of wits by answering a comedic prompt and letting the other players (and the audience) decide which they like best.
TEE K.O.:
In Tee K.O., players are on the clock to create drawings and write as many slogans as possible. The pictures and slogans are then given out at random. Whoever combines their drawings and slogans to create the best t-shirt wins, as designs are pitted against each other in head-to-head battles. The t-shirts with the highest votes in each round must survive the final gauntlet to become the best. Tee… K.O. Get it?
TRIVIA MURDER PARTY 2:
Like the first Trivia Murder Party, players answer trivia questions–and answering incorrectly will send you to the Killing Floor to play mini-games that can kill. New mini-games include avoiding swords jabbed into a magician’s box, tattooing the killer’s back, and most terrifying of all… using a rotary phone!
The Jackbox Party Starter will be out on June 30th for $19.99 on the Nintendo Switch eShop.

Compiling the most universally liked ones is a great idea, but €20 for only 3 games seems a bit expensive, no?
@Fizza I agree it's dear for 3 games, but I often find in the regular packs we only end up playing 2 or 3 of the games anyway, so in that context it's not too bad.
The only one missing is FIbbage, but the three included are indeed best of what jackbox has to offer
Great selections and great concept on paper, but at $20 I'd much quicker just buy one of the full games (especially since they go on sale a lot)...
This is just diet Party Pack 3. Might as well just get it for only $5 more, making the Party Starter fairly pointless outside of localization
Bring back the frequently updated version of You Don't Know Jack!!
This what I play the most anyway, so I like that there's a new way to buy them out there for those who don't have the games already.
As it doesn't tie in some exclusive game to try and make us rebuy this collection, it doesn't bother me one bit.
These probably would be the 3 that I would say are my favorite. Granted, you do get a version of each of these games in Party Pack 3, so I think it does speak for where the series has reached its prime.
This article made me realize, why don’t they just make party packs for genres? Like a trivia pack, drawing pack. Seems a lot better than what is essentially, “diet Party pack 3” as PikaPhantom said
Aren't these just all the games in Party Pack 3 but slightly upgraded?
First off, Tee K.O. is directly from Party Pack 3, then Trivia Murder Party 2 is almost the same as Trivia Murder Party 1, and Quiplash 3 and Quiplash 2 are still both Quiplash, which is great, but you're fine with one or the other.
$20 for this ain't a great deal. It's not awful at all, since this will probably be on sale frequently, but Jackbox Party Pack 3 will be too, which is only $5 more, and $2.50 if you already have a Jackbox game. And you get three additional games. Sure, Fakin It is only good in a in-person environment, and Guessbeiondjrk is a mixed bag, but two extra games are two extra games.
If you really want Quiplash 3, Tee KO and Trivia Murder Party 2, and want to stay away from that dumb Guessing game I forgot the name of, but if that's the case, you probably already have a Jackbox game, which defeats the purpose.
This isn't a bad deal at all, but it's clear that it's not for everyone.
Also sorry for the apology-tweet-long comment, usually don't do those.
Trivia Murder Party is great, but, for the people I play with, we didn't care for the other two. But I'm sure they're a lot better with more people playing. If I had to pick favorites, it would be Trivia Murder Party, You don't know Jack, Guesspionage, Drawful, and Fibbage.
