You might remember earlier this year that N64 platformer Glover got a rerelease on Steam — but not on Switch oddly enough. And while that Switch port still hasn't been announced, retro game collectors can at least get a little bit excited for what's coming up for the white glove-starring game.
Limited Run Games announced that it will be giving this oft-forgotten platformer some hands-on love with a retro rerelease. That's right, Glover will be getting a brand new N64 cart in the year 2022. It's not the first game Limited Run Games has done a retro re-release for, but it's perhaps not our very first choice.
We don't know anything else about the rerelease yet, but Limited Run Games has promised to release more information, so we'll have to keep an eye out. And, of course, we'll make sure we let you lovely people know.
Are you a Glover fan? Would you like to see the game on Switch? Let us know!

Rather have it on Switch than this gimmicky vintage release for rich hipsters 😐
I'll have to go to the bank to get my Glover Bucks for this one.
Please, do not serve up a Switch physical release for this game, LRG.
Uh…this seems pointless. I can go to eBay right now and buy a physical copy of Glover for around $20. Sure, it may not be CiB, but the point is that Glover is by no means hard to find.
I'm mildly curious about trying out this game. I never picked it up when I was a kid because, well, it wasn't exactly well-regarded back then. And it came out around the same time as Ocarina of Time, so, you know, priorities.
The do this often re-release games that are really easy to get a hold of in physical form already just for those people who have to buy everything like this under the hope they increase in value one day. Personally I don't see the point in doing this. This kind of thing should only really be for games that weren't originally released for whatever reason and new games not games people can get for a fraction of the price with limited edition bits of card and paper.
The soundtrack was amazing to this game. The music from the different worlds was right up there with Mario Galaxy for me...
Along with the great gameplay for the glove and ball mechanic made this a must have for the N64...
The way they announced the game felt very... Open-ended. Like they're planning on at least releases of later iterations already announced platforms.
I won't rule out that Glover would happen on Switch with its own physical as well.
@Paraka
Yeah im definitely hoping that this game gets the switch port treatment (smoothing out some of the rough edges that the pc version apparently had) over something like an NSO release.
A physical version would be even nicer.
Don’t support piko interactive
Ahh master hand became a hero 😋
This isn't rare nor expensive. And no Switch release is even more dumb. Sigh, LRG... 🤦♂️
That game is awesome ! I literally just told my fiance about this game just few months ago
