Atari has unveiled a new collection coming to Switch and other consoles in celebration of the company's 50th anniversary. The appropriately-titled Atari 50: The Anniversary Celebration will include over 90 games spanning the Atari 2600, 5200, 7800, ST, Jaguar and Lynx, and it's coming later this year.
As reported by Game Informer in an exclusive first-look feature, the collection covers those six platforms and also represents the first time Jaguar and Lynx games will be officially available to play on modern consoles. There's no word on exactly which games will be included just yet, but we'll update this post when we hear more. It will apparently feature "six new titles inspired by the classics", though — see the blurb below for more details.
Anyone who's played an Atari compilation in the past and is wary of another one might have their minds put at ease to know that Digital Eclipse is handling the emulation and overall package this time. This is the developer responsible for some of the best retro-focused collections going, including such sparkling packages as the Mega Man Legacy Collection, the SNK 40th Anniversary Collection, and the upcoming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection. So, it appears that we're in pretty safe hands with this one — a relief for anyone who feels that Atari's treatment of its back catalogue has been somewhat lacking over the years.
Here's some more info regarding the included games from Atari's website:
Swordquest: AirWorld – Yes, you read that right: After nearly 40 years of waiting, the team at Digital Eclipse has created the fourth and final entry in the legendary Swordquest series, inspired by the design concepts of original Swordquest creator Tod Frye. Who will be the first to solve its mysteries – and finally complete the quest?
Haunted Houses – The original “survival horror” game for the Atari 2600 gets a modern 3D voxel-based sequel, featuring more houses, more spooky situations, and more urns.
VCTR-SCTR – This mashup celebration of the vector era of gaming combines the gameplay from Asteroids, Tempest, and other vector-based arcade classics into a single, continuous challenge.
Neo Breakout – An amazing and addictive two-player competition that combines the best features of Breakout and Pong, with a modern graphic style.
Quadratank – The first new entry in the classic Tank series since 1978 combines features from the original games with four-player fun in team or free-for-all modes.
Yars’ Revenge Reimagined – Howard Scott Warshaw’s masterpiece for the Atari 2600 gets a whole new look – and you can swap between original and modern graphics at any time! Designed by Digital Eclipse studio head Mike Mika, who created the Game Boy Color version of Yars’ Revenge in 1999.
The games will feature a variety of modern conveniences and filters. Given the developer's expertise with adding value to its compilation with supplementary 'museum'-style extras, the package apparently contains over 60 minutes of exclusive interviews with Atari developers and industry figures, with historical images and other assets also forming part of the experience.
Atari 50: The Anniversary Celebration is set to release Holiday 2022. Let us know below if this is tickling your nostalgia bone.

This is awesome! Some great classics out there, and you almost never get any love for Jaguar or Lynx. This is great news!
The only game that reminds me of a Lynx is California Games and another thing that reminds me of that system was the amount of batteries it used to burn through
Atari 2600 was the first game console I ever played. I have alot of good memories with these games and will be buying this on release day.
I never had an Atari. I will be interested to see what games stand up, without any rose tinted glasses.
Probably won't get the post 1984 Atari split arcade titles like Paperboy, Gauntlet, Marble Madness, Roadblasters, etc. Those are the Atari games I like the most, along with the early arcade games like Asteroids, Centipede, Tempest, Crystal Castles, etc.
Does that mean we're not getting Zoop for the Jaguar rereleased in this? Dang it. Okay, but actually, this looks like a cool collection and it's cool they included some Jaguar games.
This is pretty exciting.
I never owned an Atari system myself, but I did buy Atari Anthology on PS2 back in the day. There were some fun games on that collection.
I especially enjoyed Tempest and Asteroids.
Why can I never fully watch a video on NintendoLife on my iPhone... I have to look trailers up directly on YouTube...
There aren't very many Jaguar titles anybody would actually want that Atari would have the rights to include here. Attack of the Mutant Penguins is a must, and seems likely to me given the circumstances.
Cool!
It'll be a shame not to have the odd Activision game, though.
When I think Atari 2600, I immediately think of HERO and Pitfall.
FUDGE ME! Tempest 2000 on Switch!!! My single fave game ever made ever. Right, I'm done. From Day One on Switch I wanted Bomb Jack, Katamari Damacy, Super Monkey Ball, Flying Shark and Tempest 2000. I have no idea how, but they are all on the Switch now. Incredible library.
"also represents the first time Jaguar and Lynx games will be officially available to play on modern consoles."
This disrespect on the Evercade cannot be forgiven.
I had an Atari Lynx and loved it! California Games all the way!
@Ploppy The Atari 2600 was some of the best time of my life, but when I revisit those Atari greatest-hits collections now I typically play five or 10 minutes of five or six games and then forget about it for another couple of years. Even the games that are timeless, such as Asteroids and Centipede, are better played as the arcade versions, rather than the console versions.
As a curiosity this is very cool. Atari is very much before my time so I doubt I'll be able to get much enjoyment out of the games persay but as sort of encyclopedia type thing I'm very much into it.
Nice! Though sometimes I forget if Atari or Activision made my fav Atari 2600 games.
**checks a few
Looks like river raid and boxing were activision but warlords was Atari. Hopefully that one makes it to the collection.
If you were a 20 year old "gamer" when Atari launched, you'd be 70 years old now.... Holy freak, time needs to stop. Now.
@Kiz3000 They should've just said Jaguar.
As a kid I grew up with a PS1 compilation of like 30 Atari games by Activision called "Activision Classics." Pitfall, Plaque Attack, Kaboom, and a whole bunch of others I can't remember the name of. I was actually just thinking yesterday how cool it would be to have those games ported to Switch. I'm guessing none of Activision's games will be included in this Atari lineup, but man...here's hoping.
This may have to be a day one for me. I was always intrigued by the Jaguar and Lynx back in the 90s and googling over the screenshots in gaming magazines.
Finally, the balance in the kingdom of Nerdom can be restored with Swordquest: AirWorld.
@GrailUK I'm so excited to be getting these, Tempest 2000 is a brilliant game and I can't wait to play the new Yars Revenge and Swirdquest Airworld amongst many others
The only Lynx compilations known to me are the two comps that have come out for the Evercade. That gave me hope for a collection on Switch at some point. Will probably be the same games as on the Evercade. Still getting it though 😁 Now what would really make me happy is the full Konami MSX Antiques collection that came out for Ps1 and Saturn.
Well time to play me some Tempest 2000, Cybermorph, Kasumi Ninja, and Atari Kart. It's too bad Atari couldn't include Alone in the Dark, Iron Soldier, Pitfall, Dragon Ball Z, and Primal Rage though as those are own by other third party companies or that other Atari company (the one that made Pocky and Rocky Reshrined). Also they better resume that contest if they are completing that SwordQuest Airworld game. We still need a winner for the philosophy stone, the golden crown, and the golden jewel filled sword.
@Slowdive Yeah but remember that one had over 150 Atari arcade, 2600, and 5200 games, this one will only had around 90 games across 6 systems, that means there will only be around 15 games from each system. Still though at least this new collection would had better emulation since it'll be handled by Digital Eclipse and not AtGames/Code Mystics like the Flashback collection.
I've never played any of these, but I keep hearing about them. If the emulation and presentation is any good, I'll probably be getting this.
No Atari Falcon games
On first glance I almost didn't even bother opening and reading this story. Atari collection, wooo another cheap release of 2600 and 5200 games... but that "Jaguar and Lynx" got my attention.
"7800, ST, Jaguar, and Lynx" games? NOW we're talking!
"90 Games"? Interesting!
"New exclusive titles from original developers"? Yes please!
"Digital Eclipse" ? F'in SOLD!!
I went from not caring to this being one of my most wanted. Very pleasant surprise. This looks like it could finally do justice to the full history of Atari. That trailer is wonderful and really shows how much care, love and respect has been put into it... and thats something I almost never say about modern Atari branded products.
...if the (modern) VCS doesn't get this, the poor people who dropped $300 on them will riot! lol
And we still can't get Paperboy on Switch.
Seriously though,I might acrually buy a collection for the first time in a while, depending on the fame list.
@Kiz3000 I was thinking the same considering I bought the Lynx collections for it just last week.
Oh yes, a properly-done Atari collection spanning the ages will get me to buy. Atari and Colecovision (with the Atari adapter) were my first home video game loves, so the nostalgia is overpowering!
Even though it will feel horribly incomplete without the great Activision 2600 games (River Raid, Pitfall, Empire Strikes Back, etc) and licensed titles like E.T, I imagine I'll enjoy this collection. The new stuff and bonus interviews with creators will be icing on the cake.
Ah, if only Atari's arcade titles could get such a collection, too...
They should release a genuine Atari controller for Switch.
Is it still considered double-dipping if I have a box in my parents attic somewhere with a couple dozen 2600 games?
My family was always a generation or two behind the gaming curve, so up until I got an NES in 1994, the 2600 was where I spent all my formative years. I have both owned and beaten E.T. for whatever thats worth.
So I paused at 0:44, here's what was listed:
-Adventure
-Asteroids
-Atari Karts
-Basketbrawl
-Warlords
-Breakout
-Cannon Bomber
-Centipede
-Missile Command
-Major Havoc
-Haunted House
-Fight For Life
-Dodge 'Em
-Demons to Diamonds
-Cybermorph
-Combat
-Outlaw
-Dark Chambers
-Baseball
-Volleyball
-Scrapyard Dog
-Swordquest Air World
-Star Raiders
-Super Breakout
-Yar's Revenge
-3-D Tic Tac Toe
-Tempest (Jaguar)
-Tempest (2600)
-Swordquest: Water World
-Swordquest: Fire World
Also at 0:53:
-Food Fight
-Miner 2049er
-Missile Command 3D
-Yoomp!
The Switch really has become a dream platform for retro games. There are still a bunch of potential compilations still out there to be done, however; the problem lies mostly in licensing and other legal matters. Among the most prolific and just plain best: Activision, Midway, Namco (the existing Switch compilation is vastly inferior to the Museum Remix iterations on XBOX 360 and PS3; no Pole Position or Ms. Pac-Man among others), and of course Sega's incredible array of iconic Arcade coin-ops from the likes of Zaxxon, Pengo, and Congo Bongo through the Model 2 days of Virtua Fighter, Daytona USA, and Super Star Wars Arcade. Of course there are a few odd titles out there that might not align with a compilation but still were extremely popular back in the day, such as Q-Bert.
So yeah, still lots of work to be done before Switch will ever be the legal purchase equivalent of an emulator like MAME. But it's still done extremely well so far in offering a crazy selection of old school games to play.
The grave diggers of video games will have plenty of stuff to study to. I'm realy enjoying the idea that this compilation will see the light of day, because as an old curious gamer i'll dive easily in this prehistoric era until the modern days of Atari.
I no it won't be on there, but AvP would be great
Wonder if they will I coude ET? Lol. If the collection is cheap enough I will buy this. For a piece of gaming history
Swordquest: Airworld? Wow, that's honestly pretty cool. It's a little cathartic for me to finally see this game getting realized after rewatching AVGN's Swordquest video several times over the years. I even entertained the idea of making it myself when I was younger.
I'm also impressed to see that they are dropping AtGames in exchange for emulation specialists with an actual repuatation and including Jaguar/Lynx games. It seems like someone has finally realized how to adequately utilize the Atari brand.
My old Atari 2600 is in my parents' loft!
Would love to own this collection!
Wasn't interested this at first, but I think they're taking a better approach than the usual shoveware package they've done in the past. For one, including the Swordquest games is nice. Never did get to finish those games. Too bad we'll never get to finish the series either. Assuming the price isn't stupid, this might be a nice collection with the bonus stuff.
I appreciate what the Atari did for gaming, but these games are too primitive for me now.
They can't NOT put ET and Pac-Man on this, right?
Man, what an amazing looking collection. Digital Eclipse are legit amazing at preserving gaming history and making it available for everyone to enjoy. Haven't ever been too crazy of an Atari fan but I'm definitely gonna get this one
@NESlover85 Space Invaders. So many memories of that game.
Wow 😮 I need this!!! Amazing to get Jaguar games on a modern console.
Atari Jaguar games, hm... But, what's about Atari Jaguar CD games? There were a few Jaguar CD exclusive games/ports, if I don't confuse...
I usually do not want old games like this. Not saying I'm spoiled to today's graphics and gameplay, but I just do not find a lot of fun in most older games. However, Yars Revenge is an all time great. I also love that they will have Jaguar games. I had a Jaguar and I'm sad it crashed and burned so hard. I'll buy this game once it's out to support my first gaming system and love of gaming (the 2600)
@GrailUK Have you tried Tempest 4000 yet?
freeway, tempest, tempest 2k, boxing, and river raid please.
Wonder when they will start trying to bring back hoola hoops to cash in on the easy nostalgia buck.
@thinkhector Not yet, I'm holding off to see if there is a physical release.
i will as i always do wait until i see the reviews before i ever consider buying a game..
Bloody heck, 90 games! I’m not big on Atari as they were well before my time but that’s a damn good collection
Hopefully this compilation will finally give the conclusive answer to where the pilot from Cybermorph learned to fly.
@Burning_Spear
Same here! Love them classics but Atari 2600 level is kinda too much. That's why I'm more hyped on that AtariMania collection as it features the modern remakes of those classics. It drops on Switch this Summer. It's actually kinda weird that they do two similar releases just one after another.
That's what I call a homage.
Wow... We had a 2600 for years until my brother and I pleaded and begged our parents to get an NES. We had a Lynx too, and it was a great handheld with some awesome games. This might be a Day 1 purchase for me.
@jello64 Space Invaders was great. Loved Asteroids, Pitfall, and Yars Revenge as well.
I hate to say it, but Atari sucks. Has always. Only the logo is cool. Game wise: big downer.
Put this on a cartridge and make sure it includes Tempest 2000. It will be mine. This announcement is better than anything from yesterday’s direct for me.
Now that I think about it, there isn't anything on the Jaguar or Lynx worth releasing besides Tempest 2000. There aren't any arcade games here because they are already a part of an Atari collection. That same collection already includes a TON of 2600 and 5200 games. Atari ST? Atari 7800? Anything on there? What the hell games are they gonna release? This collection might be all about the new games, but even there Atari is competing with itself. They already have remakes of some of their biggest hits available under the "Recharged" brand. They should just release Tempest 2000 separately.
😅😅😅I don't want to sound like a troll but what great games we're on an Atari (that gamers will want to play)?
I was around when the Lynx was released and am aware of the 2600 but at that time, I was playing NES and looked down on the poor graphics of the 2600.
Wow!! As a gamer who grew up with Atari in the house in the late 70s this is cool. The additions of the 7800, Lynx and Jaguar for me is a big surprise too. Jaguar is sooo darn tough to emulate just like the N64 is. Great to see that these 3 Atari consoles will finally be represented on modern consoles!! Looking forward to the game lineup! Hopefully will be a physical version as well!
@thinkhector although there’s not too much on the Jag to pick from that are gems besides Tempest 2000 there are other great Jag games but we likely won’t see stuff like Defender 2000 or Aliens Vs Predator unfortunately. But just the thought of having some Jaguar games on the new consoles for the first time is pretty cool I think.
Atari ST no clue what they can grab from there.
Atari 7800 was an very underrated system that of course got smoked by the NES but has quite a few very good original Atari games.
Desert Falcon
Dark Chambers
Food Fight
Planet Smashers
Asteroids 7800 version is great
Ninja Golf
Ballblazer
Fatal Run
Alien Brigade
Midnight Mutants
Scrapyard Dog
Centipede
Motor Psycho
I hope to see all these included! 😊
I am really hoping that this one gets a physical release.
This is what I’m talking about! Day one for me, especially since it has Food Fight, and a selection of Lynx/Jaguar games! Tempest 2000 alone makes it worthwhile! I would love to see a rerelease of Dirty Larry!
This year is packed with retro ports ain’t it, we got this, capcom fighting collection just released with arcade 2nd stadium on the way, retro gaming fans do be eating good
@speedyb wow what a list
In the video I see the following Jag games:
Atari Kart
Cybermorph
Fight for Life
Missile Command 3D
Tempest 2000
@Joekun There was also Trevor McFur...but maybe you ignored that on purpose lol.
Edit. Or worse still, I'm imagining it!
@GrailUK LOL, didn’t see that one. The title rings a bell, but I don’t think I ever played it. There was one box on the screen that was half cropped and I couldn’t tell what it was.
@SteamEngenius : I hear yo-yos and frozen yogurt vendors are ahead in the revolving queue.
@BlueGBAMicro "I don't want to sound like a troll but what great games we're on an Atari (that gamers will want to play)?

From 1976-1984, Atari was video games. If you think Atari was just the 2600, you're overlooking their coin-op arcade game classics:
Include Super Sprint, and I'm buying
Despite suggestions to the contrary in the article, Code Mystics continually delivers more accurate emulation than Digital Eclipse 2.0 does.
Not at all a "win" that they got the job, although I'm hopeful they'll deliver something worthwhile without serious emulation issues (The aiming continually getting stuck in the LS30 games on the SNK collection is a great example and remains an issue to this day) or massive input lag (See the NES games in Mega Man Legacy Collection 1 for an example).
All that Digital Eclipse 2.0 are the master of is the wrapper. When actually sitting down to play a game contained on one of their compilations, their products often expose their serious shortcomings after departing the pretty menus and such, like the awful Game Boy sound emulation on their Lion King/Aladdin double pack from a few years ago (Luckily not too big of a problem in that case unless one is a masochist and actually plays through the Game Boy ports).
@Earl_Grey That's Atari Games and falls under the Warner Brothers umbrella these days.
The arcade selections will almost certainly all be Atari Inc. releases from before the home division was sold off to Jack Tramiel in 1984 (The sale of which included the ownership of existing arcade IP like Asteroids, but not the actual arcade division itself).
It's those arcade classics from when Atari was still an intact operation that today's Atari owns, not the later stuff that was developed and released under the Atari Games banner.
@MontyCircus ANYTHING pre-NES is not worth playing these days.
Those Games you mentioned have not aged well at all.
@Atariboy oh shoot 🙁
@BlueGBAMicro Nonsense.
@ecco6t9 These are aimed at casual impulse buyers, so I bet it will see a wide retail release.
They want people seeing the package on the shelf and buying it on the spur of the moment to revisit childhood memories, wives and children buying it for dad when looking for a new game to gift him, etc.
@BlueGBAMicro "ANYTHING pre-NES is not worth playing these days. Those Games you mentioned have not aged well at all."
That's like saying "All 2D games suck!"
By the way, it should be mentioned that the Atari ST 16-bit computer isn't a category on this collection. Game Informer made a mistake.
The six Atari platforms are the 2600, 5200, 7800, 8-bit computer line (400, 800, etc.), Lynx, and Jaguar.
This actually looks really good. Hyped to play some of these re-iterations of classics.
So excited to play some Jaguar games again , cybermorth was a pretty decent shooter from what I can remember , tempest 2000 is obviously legendary and worth buying this compilation for that alone. I’ve never played Atari karts, fight for life or Trevor McFur so whilst I imagine they are probably terrible I’m still looking forward to playing them
@MontyCircus No becasue NES Games were 2D.
I have a BittBoy: Pocket-Go and have Atari Lynx ROMs on it and there is NOTHING of interest.
@joey302 Yeah,v that's kinda what I am getting at. Atari didn't make many games itself for those systems, so how are they going to bring any new games to the collection? Atari Flashback already has 130 titles from just the 2600 and 5200 ALONE. And this collection is only brining 90? There is going to be a ton of duplicates for the Atari 2600 and 5200, and then just a handful of games for Jaguar, Lynx, and ST and 7800 COMBINED! And those games are less desirable than the 2600 and 5200. This is going to be the Tempest 2000 and handful of reimagined games collection. You gotta hope at least a couple of those new games are interesting.
See THIS is how you celebrate in style! Not this Sonic Origins and Mairo 3D All Star garbage
Take a look, Nintendo. Instead of forcing us into "New Extended Game Pass Plus Special Extended Edition" subscriptions they should just do the same. But physical - of course!
Here's the thing eShop only...forget that...we want out options. Physicals....
@Slowdive oh, and I'm late saying this, but it's nice to see you back on the site
@thinkhector There's no ST games here. NintendoLife is just repeating a mistake that Game Informer made (Possibly caused by Asteroids Deluxe for the ST briefly appearing on the reveal trailer). The included computer platform as confirmed by Digital Eclipse via Twitter is Atari's much more popular and well known 8-bit line that was consolized twice with the 5200 and XEGS (And which in essence is already emulated for the collection automatically by virtue of including 5200 games). So it's software for the 400/800/1200/XL/XE family of Atari computers.
The rest of your point remains though for sure. For instance a few years ago I went through Atari's lineup for the 7800 and eliminated games with outside licensing and light gun games that lack a joystick mode. I was left with only 11 games and not all of these are necessarily fully owned by today's Atari.
-Alien Brigade
-Asteroids
-Basketbrawl
-Centipede
-Desert Falcon
-Fatal Run
-Food Fight
-Motor Pyscho
-Ninja Golf
-Planet Smashers
-Scrapyard Dog
And tossing in Dark Chambers only brings us to 13 7800 games (questionable due to dual copyright on the cart label, with John Palevich and Atari both listed). It did make it out on one of the Evercade Atari releases, so it's likely free and clear for today's Atari to include (Although the 2600 version missed the cut for Atari Flashback Classics, so I'm still not so sure).
And essentially every 5200 game that was similarly free and clear made the cut for the Atari Flashback Classics line already, although I strongly suspect they've secured at least one very well known 5200 homebrew that was an unofficial sequel to an iconic 2600 game. And we also should see Miner 2049er and Bounty Bob Strikes Back either in their 5200 or 8-bit computer form, since they've been listed in Atari's IP catalog for a year now (They apparently bought them from Big Five Software).
The only 5200 omissions from Atari's lineup back in the day on the Flashback collections that they'd hold clear title to without any outside licensing are unfinished games, Meebzork and Tempest. Tempest incidentally was brought to completion decades later by the original programmer and would make a great candidate for inclusion if they license his finished effort. Was a holy grail of sorts for 5200 and 8-bit computer fans back in the day.
And without upping for some licenses or some reworking of some licensed games like Pole Position to make them non-infringing like Sega's done with Outrun (Wouldn't take much more than renaming the 2600 version of PP to bypass the Namco issue, since while a good effort it's not exactly an highly accurate reproduction), the list of 2600 candidates not already covered is virtually nil as well.
@thinkhector yes the remakes/originals sounds interesting. While I was a huge 2600/5200 fan, for me the games being added from the 7800 Lynx and Jaguar libraries are big and obviously first time to be accessible on the current gen consoles. The 7800 has a few gems from Atari themselves that I’m looking forward to.
@Joekun I definitely wanna check out Atari Karts! I read it was actually pretty good and I’ve been looking to buy a copy of the game but man it runs between $400-$600. Brand new I saw it for $2 Grand!! Crazy
@joey302 Yeah, I’d like to try it. I had a Jag back when it was new, but I don’t remember ever seeing that game.
@Atariboy I looked over the game trailer again, and there was Gravitar Arcade. Sure it's already on Atari Flashback, but does this mean arcade games will be included? That could be a game changer, because Atari only included there earliest arcade titles in Flashback. If they include their late 80s early 90s arcade games that would make this package much better. I'm also thinking that the games might not be that important here. It looks like they are going to do a complete Atari retrospective in this release. Is it possible that the history, interviews, and development artifacts make or break this collection? Especially if it's stuff not seen before? The price point will definitely matter seeing how much they already put into their other collection. (Really the problem is that Atari Flashback exists, and it's good.)
Jaguar and Lynx caught my attention. Need to hear more. Now if 3DO could get some love.
@thinkhector Yes, arcade games are featured on this. Major Havoc for instance has a prominent spot in the trailer.
Don't count on anything Atari Games appearing here. What today's Atari owns is the console and computer half of Atari and the arcade games that Atari had created before selling the home/computer business to Jack Tramiel in 1984 (Which went along with the home side of the business since older arcade games like Asteroids still had viability as home releases).
Anything released to arcades under the Atari Games banner after the home division was sold off like Paperboy in 1984 (And the Tengen home conversions, since Atari Games couldn't call itself Atari outside of arcades), isn't owned by today's Atari. They're owned by Warner Brothers Interactive along with the Midway, Williams, and Leland arcade lines.
While I can't 100% guarantee that none of that content was licensed for this, you'll almost certainly have to hope for another Midway collection to get any of that on your Switch. But there's still some cool arcade games that could pop up here that weren't already in the Flashback collections like Food Fight.
Would have bought this for Tempest 2K, but since tempest 4k is now on the switch (and still have my jaguar..)
@Atariboy Thanks for the info.. Was the 5200 more popular than the ST though, there was a time in the UK ST was selling more than Amiga.. (as an amiga fanboy at the time that hurt me, o those innocent times..)
@romanista I'm sure the ST outsold the 5200 (And 7800 and Jaguar) by a wide margin.
But where Atari computers are concerned, the 8-bit line was a much bigger seller and is better known than the ST line.
Edit: If Wikipedia is to be believed, the 8-bit line outsold the 16-bit ST line by approximately 2:1.
An Atari ST Mini could be cool.
Thanks Heaps @Grail_Quest I feel really old now
At least I have passed on the passion to two generations
@Ruthven I'm sorry. It breaks my heart to see the Nintendo generation (which I am a part of) hurtling toward their 50's. Time is an insidious thief, and he is coming for all of us.
Here's a list of what games made an appearance on the trailer with the type of inclusion listed in parenthesis. The box montage that I repeatedly mention occurs at approximately 0:43 in the trailer and is the source of many of our hints.

Not listed is the inclusion of gameplay footage of Asteroids Deluxe for the Atari ST, since Digital Eclipse has confirmed via social media that ST games aren't included. Perhaps it's possibly a mixup by the video editor in charge of creating the trailer (the asteroids do look a bit like they do in the 7800 port of Asteroids) or maybe it's footage from a section in the bonus gallery about Atari's ST computer line.
