The Pokémon franchise has seen its fair share of merchandise across the years. From trading cards to cuddly toys and even themed cars, there's something for every fan to enjoy.
Over in Japan, footwear company Converse is launching a new collaboration with Pokémon, launching ranges for both children and adults. The children's range is out now, with the latter set releasing at a later date.
Starting with the children's range, we've got colourful high-top All-Star sneakers with a velcro fastening system, all based on cute Pokémon with bold profiles and themed colour palette. The range includes Pikachu (of course), Piplup, Eevee, and Mew. Also for children is the low-top neon range, which consists of black or white trainers with a distinctive PIkachu design adorned on the side. Better yet, they glow in the dark!
Moving onto the adult range, we've got a much more restrained design, with subtle colours and a more 'classy' nod toward the Pokémon characters themselves. Here, we've got Pikachu (of course!), Eevee, Charizard, and Mewtwo. Each shoe contains the name of the Pokémon along with its height and weight, plus a lovely pixelated Pokédex image alongside the All-Stars logo on the tongue.
Sadly, the range doesn't look like it's due to make its way over to the west, but that shouldn't stop you from importing a pair if you really want some.
Let us know in the comments if you're a fan of the new Pokémon range from Converse. We definitely are!

I never thought I'd import sneakers for myself, of all things. But alas. Here we are.
Oh, love the Eevee shoes.
Same Pokémon as usual. What about people who want to wear a Klefki or Alolan Grimer? They exist. Probably.
These are all pretty cool, but I prefer the collection that came out around January.
Mostly because of the custom aspect (mine are grey and red w Kanto and Alola starters) but I think the others just look cooler.
Bah, even if I wanted to import them, the amount of trouble getting size 12s in/from Japan.
It would've been a nice touch to replace the star with a Staryu
Smh my head this isn't Pokemon X at all
Pokémon Y fans must be kicking themsleves
Oh man... That's a real need right there
@eltomo ok but now imagine trying to get size 14s
I would have preferred Original Stitch’s strategy of more discreet designs so we can satiate our inner child while keeping up appearances.
@BLD : Pokémon X National Dex?
@OnlyItsMeReid you must be about 7 to 8 feet tall!!
