Capcom Arcade Stadium is a wonderful collection of legacy titles from the publisher's history, providing excellent value considering the sheer number of titles available (32 in total!) if you bag yourself the lot. Now, it looks like a sequel of sorts may be on the way.
Capcom Arcade 2nd Stadium has been rated for PC by The Game Rating and Administration Committee of Korea (thanks, Gematsu), with a follow-up rating provided for 'Capcom Arcade 2nd Stadium Bundle #1', suggesting that the collection will release in packs, similar to the first game.
If you cast your mind back, Capcom Arcade Stadium came bundled with just one game - 1943: The Battle of Midway - with subsequent games released as DLC in bundles, including the likes of Bionic Commando, Ghosts 'n Ghouls, and Street Fighter II. Ghosts 'n Goblins released on its own, before Capcom announced that all games would be available to purchase individually in October 2021.

We're confident we'll be hearing more on Capcom Arcade 2nd Stadium relatively soon, but does it sound like something you're interested in? Did you complete the collection from the first game? Let us know with a comment.

Should be dlc rather than it’s own separate thing.
I hope we get Powerstone
AVP and CnD plz
It wouldn't make sense for it to be a totally separate piece of software to the first one, surely? The arcade in the original is designed for expansion. Maybe they're just trying to squeeze more money out of it. Will give them the benefit of the doubt for now, but it did cross my mind that they were holding back Black Tiger for a reason.
April fools joke or legit? Lol. I don’t even know anymore. Though if part 2 is their Dreamcast era arcade games I’m all in.
OMG YEAHHHHH YES YES YES!!! I had given up hope, hopefully there are also optional packs as DLC for the first wrapper, but I’m so happy either way.
Besides the obvious high profile requests, please include Gun Smoke, Last Duel, Mars Matrix, and The Speed Rumbler
They could just add more games to the existing arcade app though 🤔
As many pointed out, why wouldn't they just release more game packs for the existing frontend?
A new collection simply adds hosting and publishing costs for now reason...
Why not simply make more DLC packs for the first game? It doesn't make any sense.
Well, I’ll buy Eco Fighters on sale I guess..
This better not be an April Fools! I hope Area 88 (UN Squadron) is in the next batch.
Whatever classic (i.e. old/retro/vintage) arcade games Capcom is selling, I'm buying!
Finally! Can't wait to hear what the new games will be.
@Ooyah That's what I had thought, too! I hope it's just an expansion of the already brilliant Arcade Stadium. I would hate to have 2 apps to get all of my Capcom arcade goodness on Switch.
Unfortunately this seems like another April Fools Joke!!! Highly doubtful they would create a 2nd games instead of a DLC.
Here's hoping for Side Arms this time round, but Black Tiger, Gunsmoke, LED Storm and Strider 2 would also be nice.
Super Capcom Arcade Stadium 2: Hyper Turbo Edition!
There are still tons of games they could release. Quite a few are licensed but hey, I'm optimistic
Yes please! Capcom has such a great back catalogue.
I mean they released like 30 games on the Dreamcast in the space of 3 years
@martapp I'm actually not that big a fan of the original Strider, but Strider 2 is awesome. Definitely should be a part of this collection.
It would be funny if all these games are the same ones already in the Capcom Fighting Collection. Still more opportunity for more gems would be nice, we still need AVP, Dungeons & Dragons: Chronicles of Mystara HD, Saturday Night Slam Masters, Ring of Destruction, Mega Man: The Power Battles, Mega Man II: The Power Fighters, Final Fight Revenge, Rival Schools, Project Justice, Star Gladiator, Plasma Sword, Street Fighter Alpha 2 Gold, Street Fighter Alpha 3 Upper, and Power Stone.
Would prefer if they just released new packs as DLC
people should play Progear. It's a Cave shooter for like 2 euros it's a steal
The only way this would make sense would be if it's for the later 3d Naomi hardware. So Techromancer, Star Gladiator and Power Stone.
I hope a physical version combines the two.
@CrazyOtto I'm ok with 2 volumes I want a physical copy so badly lol.
@Rambler "Back Tiger"... never heard of that one.
I mean I'm in, but why another program? I want all the games in the same arcade, this is stupid, unless you can import the games into the first one or buy just the second one. That would make sense. Either way it's almost a year over the supposed release date and I hope it comes soon.
April fools? God damn I hate that day... :/
Alot of Dreamcast games started out as Naomi arcade games.
Maybe the next Stadium is for 3D Naomi games...
It has to be something more modern to justify new launcher.
@Bass_X0 ya just release every possible capcom arcade game as dlc to volume one.
Fine with it being a stand-alone. It'll likely feature the games from Arcade Cabinet that didn't make it to Arcade Stadium - Side Arms, 1943 Kai, Gunsmoke, Black Tiger and so on, and maybe Mars Matrix, Dimahoo and Gigawing 2 as the more recent Shmups as with the prev package and its inclusion of Pro Gear/Gigawing/1944.
Have to add that if you've got an Xbox Series, you can buy M2's Capcom Arcade Stadium or d/load if you had it on 360.
It's worth owning, as you'll see it's a precursor to M2's Shot Triggers series with customisation options for each of the games, with 1943 Kai's settings being the most interesting. If we use Arcade Stadium as a reference - I doubt we'll see these options on Arcade Stadium 2.
