I'll pass this week nothing at all
Because I'm a Doctor Who fan, I purchased Doctor Who: Edge of Reality. (I'm aware of review scores on other platforms, but fans seem to like it.)
PSA: Maze Theory put the deluxe version on sale for the same price of the standard version as thank-you-for-waiting, because of the two month delay of the release.
Bought 5 sale games so far
Alba, Savage Planet, In Other Waters, What The Golf, Cosmic Express.
@WoomyNNYes Same here, I know I shouldn't, but I need to try... it's the doctor.
Got a long weekend at work so too busy with Burning Crusade Classic, Ion Fury and SMTV to bother picking up anything this week
Anybody know how DoDonPachi Resurrection is? I'm most interested in that. There's a few other intriguing titles, but I'm so full right now I'm not likely to buy more at the moment.
D-d-d-d-don pachi!
I can’t tell if the description for Aliens Strike is being tongue-in-cheek.
In any case, nothing for me from this list at least as of now. I really want to take advantage of the eShop sales going on right now but I’m also working through SMTV. I’m determined to have this one be the first one I ever beat so I’m really trying to stick with it and not let it go to the way-side.
Wait did that Disney collection with the Jungle Book added ever got released? Seems like forever since we last heard about it.
Gonna hold out hope that DonPachi gets a physical later like Mushahimesama
Well, the Arcade Archives game is Phozon, some strange Namco game that I think was only on the PS1 Museum line (when they tried to include one obscure game in each volume, I think).
@JasmineDragon It gets very colorful and confusing at times. Input lag on Switch feels about as good as Mushihimesama, about 3 frames. Difficulty is as per usual by CAVE standards, relatively easy first stage, a little tricky second stage, and difficulty spiked third stage. Hyper mode allows you to shoot enemy bullets for point items, or hold down the button for a devastating beam. Knowing when to pop off a Hyper will make your combo and score skyrocket. It's a pretty fun and bombastic time. Speaking of bombs, autobomb is standard, but having bombs in stock doesn't affect your end of stage score so use them if you have to.
@JasmineDragon There's absolutely no shortage of modes for Resurrection, you're bound to find one that you love to play.
@SergeEXE @masterLEON Sounds good, I think I'm sold!
DoDonpachi of course, SHMUP fans here.
I'm too busy romancing a loli rail-lord in Maitetsu and shooting religious zealots in the face in BioShock Infinite to be bothered with anything else this weekend 🤣
I need a new hobby. This is depressing.
