One Switch release we're definitely keen to get our hands on in 2022 is Kirby and the Forgotten Land - a new 3D platformer that places Kirby in a mysterious setting filled with abandoned structures of the past.

With the game scheduled to arrive in Spring 2022, it comes as no surprise that it's now been rated by the ESRB in North America. It's 'E10+' suitable for ages 10 and up and at the very least suggests the game is still on track. Here's the game's rating summary in full, which also gives fans of the pink puffball a better idea of what to expect.

It seems Kirby will be having to save kidnapped creatures from evil forces in his new adventure. There are also some more details about the weapons he'll use and the style of boss battles players can expect.

"This is an action-adventure game in which players help Kirby save kidnapped creatures from evil forces. Players traverse 3D platforms while collecting coins, solving puzzles, and using Kirby's abilities to battle cartoony enemies (e.g., mushrooms, foxes, giant turtles). Players use swords, bombs, and blaster-type pistols to defeat enemies; some weapons allow players to use targeting/crosshairs for ranged firing. Boss battles can be frenetic, with laser fire, explosions, and projectiles flying at Kirby, often from a close-up perspective."
