Capcom might not be able to add cross-play and cross-save progression to Monster Hunter Rise, but on the plus side, it's added more haircut styles in the latest update.
To access it, you'll need to head on over to the eShop and download it. You can then access it via the mail in-game. Apart from this, Version 3.5.0 adds new events and fixes a whole lot of bugs. A Ghosts 'n Goblins collab event will also unlock on 29th October and new voice DLC has been added, too.

I would love an Apex Magnamalo. I’m level 187 and I can’t wait for the expansion.
I believe I stopped playing after the first "major" expansion, 2.0 I think?
Once I'd finished all the game's quests (about 150 or so at the time), I sadly never went back. I would love to do so, but knowing the expansion is coming has me feeling like there's no point in doing so until it drops.
I'm gonna get the skin even tho I'm never ever gonna use it.
I wanna play some more MH, but after MHR, MHST and MHST2 back to back, I’m a little burnt out atm. Not to mention Diablo 2 and Disco Elysium have my full attentions.
Give as many DLC as you want still the controls suck and not intrested in rise.
Warning: Don’t read the comments in the Twitter post regarding Capcom adding the three black people haircuts. It ended up being as predictable as you expect.
@iaLgan The controls are fine and World aside are far better then what came before.
Give me more DLC, the controls are good and I am interested in Rise.
@WallyWest We surely are playing the different game if the controls are fine for you World and Generations are way way better than Rise.
@DomGC It's different from 3DS as far as i know and before your calling people clowns look at yourself there is no need to insult
@iaLgan I agree World has the best controls but GU are pretty clunky due to the 3DS origins, Rise is more in line with World and controls almost perfectly.
@WallyWest I agree I couldn’t get into generations but world does have better controls and some features that I wish were in rise but rise feels like it’s own the thing but the controls aren’t bad it really just depend on what weapon you are using because there are controls that are different with each weapon.
They really got that fish eyed black woman that's in everything as paid DLC? LMAO
I'm currently HR30, so I've got quite some stuff left to do. I always keep coming back for a few hunts every week so I won't be starved for content, like some players who spend many hours a week and then complain there's no content.
Love this game!
@iaLgan
Clearly you just want to hate on the game considering your later comments about World etc, no clue why, but get over yourself!
The controls don't suck, if they did, there would be far, far more people than you and a select few others pointing it out.
Believe it or not this is the first time I've come across someone saying the controls suck.
I really wanted to say "Git gud" but you have a history with MH and it seems you refuse to see the brilliance of this one, your loss.
@Rosona Sadly i can't agree with you damn it I played and have all the MH games and Rise sucks not the content but you can tell me stories and all but the controls sucks and thats that ! Simple as that
And no i don't hate the game It's great but yeah..
@Arawn93 I'm tempted. My character has just been bald all year. This is a loooooong overdue and very welcome addition. Character customization in many games just makes me feel so invisible. My buddy had to wait until he got to like the next town and had earned some $ in Pokémon Sword just to earn the privilege of having a character that looked anything like him. And in Let's Go Eevee I just gave up and decided to leave my character looking default and name him Ash because without being able to change his hair, darkening his skin just made him look kinda Indian, but definitely not like me at any age. I can't understand why Twitter would hate on Capcom for this.
I took a break collecting all the weapons, after Metroid Dread I'm now colleting HB. Almost done with that and then is LB right after, do occasional events and wait until SB while I try to finish my backlog
@FaroreAbhorsen because it wasn’t in at launch [aka wasn’t “top priority” unlike “Asians/whites” customization content] so they are hung up about that rather then focusing on getting free dlc which isn’t a thing for this game normally besides a voucher ticket.
There is plenty of cosmetic dlc that didn’t make the game day 1 that you have to pay including other hair styles so still crying what was essentially a best scenario win is pretty petty at this point
I enjoy Rise and appreciate these collaborations. I miss the festivals from World though ( Halloween theme ) They kept me engaged more than Rise has.
