The hack-and-slash Minecraft Dungeons will be getting even more new content this holiday season. During this year's Minecraft Live event, the team at Mojang announced new Seasonal Adventures.
As the player, you'll progress through an all-new progression system to earn pets, flairs, emotes and skins, and starting in December, you'll reach new heights in the first seasonal adventure - Cloudy Climb.
It doesn't end there, either - in addition to this, Mojang and Double Eleven announced a new 'Tower' challenge - which is a new free-to-play challenge. Here's a bit more information, courtesy of our Minecraft Live blog:
"There's a new NPC called the Towerkeeper, who will guide you through the procedurally-generated tower. Every two weeks, the Tower regenerates!
"The Tower is a free single-player adventure that you can see from the camp — it has 30 different floors of NPCs, bosses, and mobs, and you'll start with a totally blank character each time."

But does it get playable?
I usually gave each patch a shot and was met with increasingly worse connection issues, headache inducing stuttering and constant hard crashes. I eventually gave up on it.
Does anyone know of things have changed (on Switch)?
@Einherjar Seriously?! I have always said that microsoft/mojang need to give switch more support. If this thing can run botw at a mostly stable 30 fps it can run a simple hacknslasher at a speed that isnt a powerpoint presentation.
@sunny63 Yup, and i really tried to like the game (great coffee break ARPG), but its frame-pacing issues genuinely give me headaches and it constantly crashes.
Most i've manages to play without a crash was one and a half level.
As for internet connection, it's the same with Minecraft, it can take several minutes to connect to the MS servers.
So yeah, the port is pretty shoddy
The update looks great though 😍
Single player?
I get starting a new character, but no co-op?
Local co-op is probably the best aspect of this game.
This is one of my favorite Xbox games of the past couple of years but the switch port remains nearly unplayable in comparison. It’s a shame too as it would be perfect for portable. I look forward to all of these new additions but I’m afraid my switch will probably never see them.
