If you were looking forward to the multiplayer brawler Gang Beasts arriving on the Switch today, we've got some unfortunate news. The title has been ever so slightly delayed - meaning you're going to have to hold out until 12th October to get your paws on the Switch version.
"Gang Beasts on the Nintendo Switch will release Tuesday, October 12th. We apologise to the community, you can enjoy beef next week!"
So, if you are wondering what's happened to it today, now you know. Again - it is only a minor delay compared to a lot of other delays this year, so you can always play something else over the weekend.
A physical edition has also been confirmed for 7th December, but if you are wanting to jump right into the action right away, the eShop release will set you back $29.99 / €29,99 / £24.99.
Will you be adding this to your Switch library when it arrives next week? Tell us down in the comments.

Oh noes, a game's been delayed by seven days, whatever shall I do to recover from this terrible tragedy?
I love playing this with my girlfriend, I'll probably double dip on Switch.
@roy130390 There must be something I am missing, because the controls look sluggish.
I’m going to say they delayed the release very likely to avoid the Sora is final dlc smash fighter hype going on right now.
Been waiting for this for a long time, so another week is no problem. Still surprised it took so long for them to get it onto Switch - it feels a perfect fit!
@Tandy255 They're supposed to be sluggish
Errr it's on the UK and other European eshops right now !
Bit brutal this game is £25, it's £16 on Xbox and Playstation and £15 on Steam. Not sure why they're charging 50% more for the Switch version.
Definitely isn't worth £25 I feel. It's on sale for £6 on Playstation right now, and it's a Game Pass game for Xbox/PC users.
@Xeno_Aura most multi-plat games are more expensive on the switch. I agree that it’s lame but if people don’t buy it, they could drop the base price. I’ve seen it happen a few times but mostly to indie type games. Personally, I just wait for sales on these types of games.
@Dazzle I mean, to begin with, because it has nothing to do with age. You almost make it sound as if games are linked to maturity which, even when playing "mature games" it's kinda ridiculous to do as they are a form of entertainment and it's themes should be more to satisfy a mood rather than define maturity. As adults we tend to enjoy different stuff instead of limiting ourselves to just mature things, which is what usually teenagers do to look or pretend to be older.
It's simply a party game in which their physics allow you to do many unexpected stuff, from climbing to throwing objects and wrestling. Add that to interactive scenarios and playing with friends and chances are you'll have a lot of fun like many do or maybe not, like it happens with any other kind of game.
@Tandy255 As they told you it's intended. When you get used to it you are able to do great stuff though.
My brother introduced me to this game on PC and had a hard time getting 4 xbox/ps4 controllers at once so we can all have fun together. Glad its almost being released on the Switch 😁
