Review The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds (3DS)
A classic series gets a fresh new coat of paint
Much like everyone's favourite green-garbed hero Link, Eiji Aonuma, current producer of The Legend of Zelda series, is also on a quest of his own. However, Aonuma-san isn't tasked with saving Hyrule, nor is he desperately searching for the sacred Triforce; in fact, his personal mission isn't nearly as...

Talking Point What Are You Playing This Weekend? (13th July)
Unbullievabull!
Can you believe we're basically in the middle of July already? Madness... Well anyway, days of the year be damned, it's time to play some games. It's been a relatively quiet one this week, arguably boosted by the strange and ominous 'Emio' trailer posted by Nintendo, indicating that the company may be dipping its toes back into the...
Talking Point What Are You Playing This Weekend? (22nd June)
Getting primed
Summer's here, everyone! Except if you're in the Southern Hemisphere, in which case, Winter's here, everyone! After a quiet month or so, it's been a busy week in Nintendo land thanks to the June Direct which delivered above and beyond what many of us expected to see three months into Switch's eighth year, with its successor waiting...
Talking Point What DS & 3DS Games Would You Still Like To See On Switch?
Dual-screen dreams
We are still receiving top-notch releases by the bucketload on Switch, but as the console enters the latter phase of its lifespan, we are well and truly in remake & remaster territory. The Wii U barrel has quickly run dry (though some remain that we'd like to see make the jump to the hybrid) and recent years have seen Nintendo...

A love letter to classic Zelda titles
We've all been hit hard by the recent news that the sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild will be delayed to Spring 2023. It's a necessary move, of course, to ensure that the game will be the best it can possibly be (don't say the Miyamoto quote!), but we can't hide the fact that we're a tad...

First Impressions The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds
Further muddying the timeline
Surprise! That rumored Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3DS remake was totally not true, and no doubt planted as a red herring by some unscrupulous Nintendo employee to throw us all off the real story: Nintendo's handheld is getting a “sequel” to fan-favorite The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past.
About The Game
A Link Between Worlds
The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds is a new game with a new storyline set in world of the Super NES classic The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past.
Features:
- A daring adventure awaits Link in Hyrule, where he can use his new ability to become a “drawing” and merge into walls of dungeons and fields. This opens up new ways to explore, and puzzle elements that give Link access to locations he could not otherwise reach.
- The game brings this top-down, 2D world to life with elevation and depth enabled by the Nintendo 3DS system’s 3D visuals. The stunning 3D visuals are made possible by the constant frame rate of 60 frames per second.
- Using the touch screen, touch and drag the item from the items window and switch the item assigned to the X and/or Y buttons.

I really can't wait! The first ever Zelda game I played gets a sequel.
LttP is my favorite (or at least one of my favorites) game of all time! glad to see it takes place in the same hyrule. they should make another game to take place in Termina!
hey i heard its November 11 is this ture
@nintendorocks No confirmed date aside 'November 2013' yet I'm afraid!
ok thanks
This game look amazing!!! I'm looking forward to this a lot! I love The Legend of Zelda!
I wonder were they will go with the 2d link thing and what is the story behind it?
Excited as hell for this. It's dropping right around my birthday. Yippie.
Can't wait hope this comes to the eshop as a digital download on the day of release.
This game looks epic so far, like the 3D idea how you transfer onto walls. Amazing, might be another awesome cartoony game like wind waker or minish cap. But I'm hoping the remake majora's mask for the 3DS.
I think Nintendo should have A Link to the Past as an unlockable game!
@Smokey73401 Yes and maybe the other two NES classics as well!
(Well maybe not Zelda II)
I need it........I need it........I NEEEEEEEEED IIIIIIIIIIT!!!!!
It looks fantastic, I'm damn well getting it.
IT'S HEREE!!!! IT'S HEEEERRREEE!!!!!!!!!
This game is simply perfection!!!
does anyone have streetpass on the 3ds
The best.
@Marakuto Where do you find the glove in Zelda link two worlds
Does anyone know where I can find the glove in Zelda link two worlds
@Marakuto Well Ocarina Of Time Got A Sequal In Majora's Mask
I really need to get this game.
100%'d this game twice. It's a nostalgic overload! It's like revisiting a favorite vacation spot 20 years later to find everything intact. I really hope Nintendo releases more in this same vein, it's not fair to get such a stellar Zelda game every 20 years! Top down, action oriented, puzzle solving, green tunic hero etc...
This is a really good game and I give it respect and all but A Link to The Past still obviously beats it.
Probably one of the best games around, ever. Let's see this version, the super famicom version made my days when I was young..
This was such a good game. Everything about it was awesome without a doubt!
Best Zelda in years.
LTTP had an sequel on the SNES in Japan. It was an live radio game, where you would go on an second quest against Ganon. New graphics and stuff on the SNES.
Also LTTP is before the original Zelda games. So honestly Nintendo just wants to make another clone of the original game but an different spin on things.
Wow, I bought LTTP for SNES a few years ago for a pretty penny but never bothered to hook up the system and finally play it. I'm playing the 3DS download and I'm hooked! Maybe I'm getting old now, but damn this game gets hard!
Not bad. The mechanics were a bit confusing at first, but i got used to it
