If you've been eager to get your hands on some Super Nintendo World merchandise and happen to be located in America, you're in luck. Nintendo is making some themed items available for a limited time at the Universal Studios Store in Hollywood.
Nintendo's tweet highlights just some of the exclusive items - including Mario plushies, bags and even caps. Super Nintendo World Hollywood is expected to be the first park in the US to open its doors to the public - with construction already underway.

Well we can't get into the USA.
Why is literally everything related to Nintendo merch 'limited time' or 'limited stock'
Mario is the biggest video game character ever that stuff should be permanent
I pity the hardcore collectors, going to be a busy and expensive time. Although they’ll be stinking rich some day.
Weird, considering how the Hollywood version won't be open for at least another year. Wonder if all this merchandise was meant for that leaked Nintendo store for Citywalk and that could've been delayed for another year or two or even cancelled.
Using the word ‘limited’ when referring to production runs of millions of items of absolute tat
@acNewUpdates I don't get it either

I didn't even need to check the author's profile to see that they're not American.
@ThisisJosh Are you telling me you aren't down for a three-day drive through COVID and wildfires to get to the super limited Mario merch? Pah, obviously not a true fan.
Great stuff! How exciting.
It's seriously underwhelming merch. Looks like almost every other piece of SMB gear we can already get elsewhere
Boring. Looks like the same merch you can buy from any toy shop.
@acNewUpdates
Japan places no value on permanence and a premium on anything that is limited time only or limited quantities. Menus see 4 or 5 items get replaced monthly, pop up stores are the norm, and you just get used to the idea that if you miss THIS limited quantity thing, there is a new one soon enough.
So until NOA can do their own manufacturing, this is always going to be the way it is. These are overruns from the park in Japan, not things that were made for the US.
Would be nice for the UK to get some of the Nintendo World love when we're not even getting a store or theme park.
I can buy this items like this at a market or convention, but it's neither official or quality merchandise. Nintendo can sometimes be guilty of leaving money on the table, especially here in the UK.
