When I heard that cammy was coming to fortnite the first thing that when't through my head was, "She has pants doesn't she?"

I was right. no but really, she looks great, but uh, ya Guile is off putting to me.

There's something ironic that Disney needed to alter Cammy's legwear to accommodate cameoing in Wreck-It Ralph, and the western 3D Pixar/DreamWorks/etc. look Fortnite has adopted has forced them to copy the exact same look Disney went for.

Well, probably not EXACT same. I assume this is closer to SFV than SFII, having not played SFV yet. But the camo print legs are clearly referencing the old look.

NOW THIS MAKES SENSE. Both are part of a military so it makes sense that they use guns. That was my problem with ryu and chun li. Kinda weird that there’s so m bison or ken tho

It’s rather funny that they’ve stuck her in tights considering the hundreds of women currently wearing leotards in the Olympics, which kids will 100% be exposed to. Although whether some of those women actually want to be wearing leotards is another debate.

@CheekyZelda Because they adopted the look to get more children to be interested in their shooter game, something of a genre typically more mature-oriented than at least SFII. Yet they still need to near copypaste Disney's likewise alteration to Cammy to have her show at all because the leotard's a-ok in a fighting game for kids but not the dumbed-down shooter.

Boy I can't wait for this Capcom collaboration to expand and to see Capcom's resident crossover queens and ONLY-crossover-material-because-new-games-are-not-allowed Morrigan and Felicia. Please do teach the kids all about Japan's first learning of the succubus and immediate application to pop culture.

Soon games will be in Fortnite.

I'm not against the idea of Capcom characters in Fortnite, but I really don't get why they keep pulling from Street Fighter.

I mean, I just think if they added Capcom characters, Resident Evil would make more sense.

THe only good thing about this game are all these characters they bring to it. But not enough to make me play it anyway.

My understanding is that most of these Fortnite tie ins are just skins. Smash is still a way better game in terms of cross over. I'll take quality over quantity any day.

@DavidMac You're right, its purely cosmetic and does not add any value to gameplay at all. Fortnite does have something in its creative/sandbox mode but other than that the core gameplay gets old pretty quick.

Due to the sheer number of teenage boys playing the game they had to put pants on Cammy otherwise her normal look would’ve blown their tiny minds!

@nessisonett I seem to remember having learned that the Olympic games originally were played fully naked, as the players had nothing to hide from the gods. Ah, modern civilisation.
Nowadays people go insane if they see a nose or a mouth, and I got nearly arrested for not wearing a face mask on a hot summer's day (I have a medical exemption, but they still refused me future access to the store I had been going to for years, where they KNOW I have a medical exemption by the way, because an old man came running up to me screaming I had to stay away from him and then gathered an angry mob of mask wearing people to surround me... Which was kind of a traumatising experience actually. I was glad when the staff came, until it turned out they came to support the angry mob, "new management". Not even kidding)
A few years ago I was arrested for wearing a scarf partly covering my face on a freezing winter night, during a "flu epidemic". Meanwhile people from here claim human rights are being broken by muslims, because the women have to cover their hair, and in the name of "equality", I wasn't allowed to walk around in some places without a shirt when traveling to Spain some years ago. But on the beach, everyone could walk around topless, no problem. I really don't get humans. never have, never will.

@CheekyZelda Cammy has a game where she's shot guns before. I highly recommend checking out Cannon Spike. It's hard to find I'm sure but youtube would have it. It's also really tough.

@Portablexombie_V3 What I wear for what reason is my business, like what you wear and what your reasons are is yours. I think the reasons are clear from the context I gave. The reason for my medical exemption is my business, but if you really need to know, I'd rather explain than having you guess and be wrong:

I'm on the "autism spectrum", and I can't cope with illogical nonsense like blindly following rules that make no sense to me or go against my intuition. I lived for years mostly entirely outside of the cities to be away from people, in a forest, but when I need to communicate with them, I need to see people's faces. I don't fear a disease of any kind, especially not one that has been intentionally hyped up despite a 99,98% survival rate, higher then most other diseases, and of which I know only a handful of people that allegedly had it, and the two who "officially" died of it that I "know", I know it to be a lie, confirmed by the doctors that it was a lie because they "had to from higher up". One was old and weak, one was morbidly obese and had several organs fail already way before the "pandemic". IF I get sick with anything, or break a small bone, I just rest and fast and heal in a few days, always. And I'll stay away from anyone I don't know anyway, unless they come running up to me. I'll remain mostly calm and polite, unless they start yelling and blaming and literally just yell louder when I try to give them a calm response. When they DO hear me and can't argue in a way that makes sense, they just say "I don't want to have this argument, the rules are the rules and no one gets away", and walk off. Also, I rather breathe freely, especially on a hot day. When I think about wearing a mask, it is because of the toxic air in the cities. And when it's freezing, I take a breathable scarf and pull it up, but not against my face. I can give you several more reasons, and give you several articles in the universal declaration of human rights that support my right and completely destroy any government's right to take ANY of the actions they took. Both the doctor and psychiatrist that I used to go to agreed that I need an exemption in order to "function" in this insane world when I do come out of my forest to get some groceries for me and the dogs.

I'm sure we're all human enough to accept, if we claim to be empathetic, intelligent, understanding, social, personally free, caring, (...) that those are enough reasons to know that I won't make you sick, and I don't fear becoming sick, so those rules shouldn't be enforced, and neither should your "truth", your idea of normality, on someone who harmlessly disagrees. Even the local government itself agreed when I brought it up during one of the many conflicts we had, and they "respect" it. So I'm sure you can too, when even the robotic system itself still has enough humanity hidden somewhere within, and can't deny that I make more sense than their masters do, and the official narrative surrounding the pandemic (they just don't dare to say so openly, just like the doctor didn't dare to openly question it, but gave me very clear signs that she was glad SOMEONE here still does).

Anyway, I'll keep it at that. Have a nice day, believe what you want and live your personal freedom, while letting others live theirs, and we can all just coexist.

@Shambo interesting, but we cannot all coexist if we are only looking out for ourselves. And of you cannot wear a mask most stores have made alternative ways for you to still shop and not pose a danger to others. Just because you have an exemption does not mean you can go around and increase the risk of others.

@Portablexombie_V3 I don't know where you live, but where I live they definitely haven't. And it is a very one sided misconception that not wearing a mask is "only looking out for yourself". I know plenty of people who had their life quality and income destroyed by these "rules", set by people who suddenly started treating everyone as a threat to their own life, claiming they do it to "protect each other" and because "they care about everyone". They don't care about the people that suffer because of it, they don't care about the people who suffer because of the socially forced experimental vaccines, they'd even have the ones refusing them severely punished if they could enforce that, which I have heard many people shamelessly say. I care about the forest I live in, where it is full of discarded masks on the ground. I care about the animals I also coexist with, which other people kill and eat without a single thought. I care about the people that have to grow up in tomorrow's totalitarian world of one-sided media narrative and punishment for having a different view and / or experience. And I care about truth, which I know is not what we're getting in that narrative. From where I'm standing, this is a totalitarian worldwide coup d' état through fear and propaganda, and countless big businesses involved in it to profit insanely while the small ones disappear. And from what I've seen it is ONLY that, but I can understand that people who saw other things from other sources have other ideas, so I won't force my perspective onto them, I WILL however NOT comply to them forcing theirs onto me either.
I prefer people to not wear masks around me, but if they do, I understand their fear. I however won't wear one, and that's everyone's personal freedom to choose without "blame" or "guilt" or "shame". I just fear the direction these politics are taking, and how they just march over everyone that doesn't agree, way more than a virus I have yet to witness, and that even then has a 99,98% survival rate (and I know the "related deaths" among people I know are lies). Totalitarian government is way deadlier, and "living" under them is worse than being dead. Also, my brothers and sisters from other species have a near 100% death by unnatural cause rate under the "humane treatment" they're "given", but nobody seems to care about them when they eat "their" "meat". Not even when those businesses and practices go hand in had with just about any modern western disease (heart disease, cancers, obesity, so many more with a higher death rate and rate of occurrence...) and the quick spreading of epidemics and pandemics.

I've been trying to escape this country for a while, and they've only used the "pandemic" as an excuse to make it a lot harder, and punish a lot harder when they catch you, on a ton more arbitrary rules. All the people I know that want to escape as well, have lost nearly all hope by now, while some who fled TO here from political oppression, and even war, are considering going back as it is now, or fleeing again. It's not just a minor inconvenience that will "soon be solved if we all comply".

@Shambo if you ever do get to flee the states be sure to let us know how it is working out for you. I read your first novel but skimmed through this one. You have too many statements that just are not true. And a lot of the suffering could end if everyone made an effort to stop this pandemic. But instead of doing that we complain about our rights, freedom and not being able to get our nails done. It sucks for those who have been impacted. Our government needs to stop worry about corporations and help the people. We should have had monthly stimulus checks for those who could not go back to work. But again it is all about me and how "I cannot be inconvenienced to help out the country and it's people."

@Portablexombie_V3 I live in Europe, not "the states". I don't complain about "getting back to normality" and "getting my hair cut" or "nails done", because that "normality" was already sick. And again, maybe what's true here is not true over there, or both are true at the same time and both our visions are clouded. But here it's clear people don't care. When they think nobody sees them or they won't be punished for lack of any care because they're in the majority, they'll openly and proudly NOT care, and peer pressure and bully any minority. That's the hierarchical "democracy" we live in. Whether the "chosen representatives" call themselves "socialists", "capitalists", "communists",... or "liberals / democrats", their care is only for money and power, and the people's care is only themselves and their convenience. Genuine care continues when nobody's watching, even when they are watching and threatening to punish you for caring. The rights of all people (and animals) are not as banal as "getting your nails done", and they are being swiped under the rug and censored and mocked at a very concerning rate, while something that very much represents the very worst in human nature but fronts as its best is taking more and more power that way. That doesn't exclude the possibility of there being a virus as well, but I have yet to see that, and yet to see anything real (not just propaganda) that proves they "care". Maybe they care about the human race's continuing existence, but even then, that would mean they have to cull them, and have to lie about it all. And doesn't exclude slavery and war for profit. Again, you may SEE it differently, but it's not NOT true, just as I won't say your experience is invalid or not true, from your perspective. And neither of us should politically force ours on each other, just try to be understanding and not harm any living being, and let none harm us.
As for "country", I really don't care. That is a fictional entity, a corporation, a system of debt- and wage slavery, and I've "inconvenienced" myself to the point where I was literally about to end my life, and it still wasn't enough. Any living being, I do genuinely care. Even when nobody watches, or when they stick a gun to my head and tell me I "can't".
