Review The Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild (Switch)
A breathless experience
The Legend of Zelda has always been a franchise that best typifies Nintendo's desire to create memorable, substantial adventures. If Mario is all about precise mechanics and pure enjoyment, Zelda is a series that focuses on storytelling, world-building and classical tropes of good against evil, Hero against returning villain...

Finding all of the shrines in Breath of...

Random Creator Of "Mysterious" Zelda: Breath Of The Wild DS Demake Sets The Record Straight

Hands On Is Genshin Impact The Zelda: Breath Of The Wild Clone Fans Thought It Was?
It's out now, so we had a look
There’s been a lot of buzz surrounding a game called Genshin Impact ever since it was revealed back in June 2019, and not because it looks fantastically original; quite to opposite in fact. It didn’t take long for fans to see similarities between Genshin Impact and the latest mainline entry in the popular Zelda...
Hands On Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild VR Made Us Want To Puke
A link to the barf
It always seemed too good to be true. A virtual reality update to Breath of the Wild that enables you to play the entire game with the Labo VR Goggles? Blimey Charlie! Despite all our nagging doubts, the very fact that Nintendo was putting it out meant it must pass a minimum quality threshold, no? At the very least it wouldn't...
Preview Immersing Ourselves in the World of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild
A potential game changer
Nintendo faced a big challenge when developing The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Primarily a Wii U project, since Summer 2014 series producer Eiji Aonuma has spoken of the most ambitious title yet in the franchise, of an open world that's truly alive and fantastical. Some remarked that we'd heard bold statements...
First Impressions Revisiting Hyrule in Breath of the Wild on Nintendo Switch
Link has never looked this good
Steve Bowling and Narelle Ho Sang collaborate their thoughts on The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild on Nintendo Switch. Hands On How Will the "Open World" Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Suit a Traditional Gamer?
Anthony Dickens feels too old to play in a sandbox
I'd consider myself to be quite a traditional gamer; I tend to prefer games that have a simple core structure and a finite length. Now in my 30's I've found that whilst getting older has many benefits it has also restricted the amount of time I spent playing games, typically an hour or two here and...

Hands On Wide-Open Wanderlust in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild
Legendary
Instead of the open-floor plan filled with dozens of demo kiosks we've come to expect from its showings, Nintendo's booth at E3 this year looked rather different, featuring a single space shielded from the rest of the showfloor and dedicated to a single game: The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. While it may have seemed like an odd...

You may need to bundle up with warmer clothes or change into something better suited to the desert heat. Some clothing even has special effects that, for example, can make you faster or stealthier.
- Battling enemies requires strategy – The world is inhabited with enemies of all shapes and sizes. Each one has its own attack method and weaponry, so you must think quickly and develop the right strategies to defeat them.

Will Link have an item that delays important in game events for up to 2 years?
NX version > Wii U version
Hurry up E3. I want more info!
They haven't made a bad Zelda game yet, so it's hard to say anything bad about this. Hope it has some online features.
@improviser meh, triforce heroes wasn't great, but I guess it wasn't bad either.
I can't wait for this game to come out, I will most likely buy the NX solely for this game.
Not wild about 'Breath of the wild' the only way it could be worse is if it was called, 'The Legend of Zelda: The Triforce Awakens'
This looks like absolutely the most incredible video game ever made. Period!
@Iflywright There is something seriously wrong with you.
This game look bloody amazing! All the footage we have seen is for WiiU, im crossing my fingers and toes for an 'improved' version on switch. If this happened I'll wet my pants.
I've always said an 'Elder Scrolls' style game set in the Zelda universe will literally be the best thing ever, and from everything we've seen, this honestly just blows me away overtime I see new footage.
Ocarina of Time has been my favourite game since it's release in '98 but this honestly looks like it could finally better it.
I CAN'T WAIT FOR THIS MASTERPIECE!
I'm a little skeptical of this game, since Twilight Princess was a nightmare to play. The imagery is cool, but I'll wait for player reviews.
We waited and BOOM were rewarded with one of the most well reviewed games ever!
Game is amazing on all fronts, and Wii U version runs excellent as well . I haven't had single framerate dip. Game looks beautiful, runs great.
Cons - making me not play "For Honor"
Pros- Hhhhhmmmmm everything!
@Switched Someone obviously never played Majora's Mask...
Will make you rethink everything you know about the Legend of Zelda.
beautiful game, been a fan of the whole series and love everything about it, the only minor is that i breeze through the game like i have played it before, shrines dungeons and bosses done in one go while in previous games there would have been many points where you would be stuck because of the challenge, cant wait till dlc with hard mode and extra dungeon hope they will be a challenge
@Moviefan2k4 excuse me? Twilight Princess was a great game!! I think Botw will be even better!!
@Blazinglegend16 I was really annoyed by the constant wolf changes, and the dark environments. Most of the time, I couldn't even see what I was doing.
@Moviefan2k4 Well that was the storyline. For being my first Zelda game, I thought it was a good introduction. Btw, people don't notice because of the amazing and just beautiful landscape, but in Botw, the story is pretty dark as well. Link dies, zelda's dad dies, spirits, evil, there's alot. And the wolf part was cool, so you can use animal instincts and your sword. They are both amazing games.
@Blazinglegend16 The only 3D entry I've liked so far is "Ocarina of Time". I mostly prefer the older games with the top-view perspective, like the first two NES games and "A Link to the Past".
@Moviefan2k4 Ok, that's your problem. Alot of us, including me, are young. Nintendo aims their games at 10+ to teen, so alot of young players play it. Which Im happy about, unlike xbox with them M games that Im not aloud to play. I'm saying that people have different opinions. I don't really like the bad graphics, because I have no idea what I am doing, but in recent games, it looks amazing.
I like this game. Period. it's plain amazing. Now I can play zeldacraft without being made fun of, "Minecraft is 4 babies"!!
@Blazinglegend16 No need to get personal; its simply a preference, not a problem.
I just realized that fire and ice weapons effect your body temperature. If you equip a meteor rod it makes your warmer, blizzard rod colder. Haven't seen anyone else mention this.
@Switched No offense, but you are either a pessimist, blunt, or really, really, really stupid. You haven't played this game correctly. I'm only 30 hours in the game and already it was worth buying the $500 bundle.
Amazing game stunning graphics brilliant open world style and is a reasonably hard game to complete but the koroks are just such a pain to get but it doesn't affect the score since they are optional which is a great part of the game that everything except defeating Gannon and the first 3 shrines is optional. No doubt 10/10 outstanding game.
Best Zelda Game on the market. I was unsure of I keep the Switch when I bought it on the 3/3/17, but a few minutes with this game showed me that its worth it. I cant remember when I bought so much Games and stuff for a console. Best first release game ever!

What a total dream game! So much to do, you could play for YEARS and never get bored! The true meaning of an “open world” can be found in this aesthetic wonderland of endless adventure and discovery!
Great graphics, great storyline, great music. Wonderful game. Poor control setup. Should have stuck with the classic 3D control system Nintendo...would have even further improved play.
This game is great! The world is so big, and once you get of of the Isolated Plateau, you don't even have to play the story, you can just explore. What I love to do is go on an ingredient hunt to find the greatest recipes across Hyrule!
I have but one complaint about this game, I'm ok with amunition items, but items wearing out and breaking sucks, ESPECIALLY when you get really great items and it breaks after hitting a boss only a few times. Some people often argue "it adds to the realism, stuff wears out", but it doesn't, it DOES add to the frustration, hell, even the Master Sword becomes screwed and is useless for a good long while as it waits to recharge, what kind of ultimate magical weapon of power is this ??? hell, you can wear the same outfit throughout the whole game and not a single thread will come loose no matter how often you are attacked, but the Miraculous, Magical, Super Weapon of Ultimate Power can break ??? I REALLY hope Nintendo does NOT repeat this in the next game......
despite its flaws (pure opinion), I still think it rocks
Oh crap I hope Samus's suits and weapons don't break on me too !!!
I loved this game- I've sunk over a hundred hours into it- and it's become my second favorite Zelda game!
Zelda Breath of the Wild is very cool!!
@Switched
You obviously haven't played all the Zelda series, and for your information fantasy is evil all on it's own.
I love Breath of The Wild great game however Ocarina of Time will always remain my favorite not just for nostalgic reasons but also how enjoyable and creative it is that it never gets boring!.
I'm getting the console today along with Zelda. Wish me luck! https://pinoylambinganhdreplay.su/

beautiful RPG with a great story, amazing atmosphere and so much to do in it. <3
Only wish there were more marmots in this game.haha
Played it twice though! ))))
Like the game and still playing it little by little. Beautiful game and lots to explore. This game may take me a long time to finish.
This game is amazing. It gets you invested into the game with the story (if you decide to follow the story), the graphics are beautiful, the voice acting is good, and the guardian theme will give you PTSD in a good way. It falls in some categories like weaopn durability and final boss difficulty, but overall it's such a good game. I reccomend this game to anyone with a switch or wii u (remember?)
this game was the one that made me buy a switch. lol
I'm so in love with it that I almost finish the game completely I just need to find the rest of the korok seeds lol
This is definitely one of the only games I could play for hours on end (not that I haven't already) and still feel pumped! Nintendo really got the formula right for this baby 👍👍
Player review:
I gave this one a 3/10 Bad rating, despite popular opinion, because it is not casual player friendly
-Weapon durability is just not needed, especially on top of the other issues I have with it
-There is some quest direction but not nearly enough for me. I get that the open-world nature of the game means you are supposed to get distracted by other things but there should always be an objective to get you back on the right track. (Check out Immortals Fenyx Rising for an example. Whatever complaints you have about it, all quest tracking is so much better)
-I don’t mind a non traditional leveling system, as long as it works. To get anything more than your starter 3, maybe 4 hearts, you need to complete shrines, next to impossible for me with the game’s quest tracking design
-Fast travel points should be unlocked as you progress, not a sidetrack to find a tower and reveal the map, which should also at least be revealed as you explore/walk. The game’s suboptimal system makes going anywhere extremely tedious
I get that there is a majority of people who think, probably rightly so, that this is an awesome game, but it is just not for me. Like I said, for me, Fenyx Rising does it better.
one of the best games on the switch, loved it so much
Cool it with the combat trials, and we have the best game ever made.
love this game so much!

@BabyBear ExAcTlY!
OMG I'm obsessed with this game!
Breath of the Wild is an absolutely fantastic entry into my favourite video game series, and even 600+ hours into the game at this point, I'm STILL finding new stuff to do. A truly legendary Zelda experience, and can't wait to see what they do for Tears of the Kingdom!
This game is perfect no need to explain
