Review The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask 3D (3DS)
You’ve had a terrible wait, haven’t you?
The wait for The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask 3D has felt a lot longer than it has, in reality, been. Although it was only officially announced for the first time during last November's Nintendo Direct presentation, it needed little time to build up a considerable buzz ahead of its release. Of course,...

Based on early sales indications there are a decent number of gamers that have taken the plunge on the long-anticipated 3DS remaster The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask 3D. For those that didn't experience the title back in the days of the Nintendo 64, however, it can be a slightly baffling...

Talking Point What Are You Playing This Weekend? (July 15th)
Game on!
And just like that, it's the middle of July... happy weekend, everyone! We might be out of summer showcase season, but there has still been plenty of good things on the table here at Nintendo Life this week. We ran through 21 vintage Nintendo games that you can only buy for original hardware, saw lots of goodies at the Limited Run Games'...
Talking Point What Is A 'Traditional' Zelda Game, Anyway?
And does Breath of the Wild fit the mould?
Despite the overwhelmingly positive reception to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild when it launched back in 2017, there are undoubtedly those who yearn for a return to what they deem to be a more “traditional” Zelda experience. With its open world, shrines, weapon degradation, and ‘rune’...
Video Here's Toto's Africa, Played On The Instruments In Zelda: Majora's Mask
I hear the Goron drums echoing tonight
The best karaoke song of all time and the best Zelda game of all time have finally been united in this mashup, in which Bigfatfrown plays the entirety of Toto's 1982 hit Africa on the Majora's Mask instruments. Perhaps the original arrangement of the song was not entirely intended for a set of bongos, an...
Video Which Legend Of Zelda Remaster Is Best?
There's a tier list and everything
Though Nintendo hasn't gone as big on remasters as some other platform holders and publishers, and in the Switch era has often opted for straight up ports on multiple occasions, The Legend of Zelda franchise has nevertheless had its fair share of improved entries. These have mainly come in the past couple of...
Soapbox Music Just Don't Come Spookier And Sadder Than Zelda: Majora's Mask
The moon, masks, and melancholy
I didn't play Majora's Mask when it first came out, and thank heavens I didn't — I probably would have just quit playing video games then and there. I mean, I used to have nightmares about the wind sound effects in Ocarina of Time (in my defence, they're creepy); I don't know how I would have handled the existential...
Soapbox Playdate Sold Out In 20 Minutes - Is It Time For A New Nintendo Handheld?
The Game Boy... 2
Many of us at Nintendo Life have been patiently, excitedly waiting for the Playdate to go on sale, because we're suckers for bits of colourful plastic. Well, it did, and we missed it, because all 20,000 initial units (for the 2021 batch, at least) sold out in just 20 minutes. [Not all of us missed it! - smug Ed] It's hardly...
Talking Point Every Pre-BOTW 3D Zelda Now Has A Remake, But Which Is Best?
Featuring *two* polls!
Like Disney remaking all of its old animated movies into live-action versions, Nintendo has slowly been remastering all of its old Zelda games to bring them to new audiences — and to remind old audiences why they loved the games so much. Unlike Disney's live-action movies, though, the Zelda remakes are fantastic, and now...

News Zelda Remake Specialist Grezzo Is Hiring For A New "Medieval" And "Stylish" Project
What could it be for?
Japanese video game developer Grezzo might not necessarily be a household name, but it's become known within the Nintendo community over the past decade for its work on The Legend of Zelda remakes. In 2019, it released a remake of the 1993 Game Boy title The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening for the Switch. According to...
Feature Zelda: Majora's Mask At 20 - The Enduring Appeal Of Nintendo's Strangest Game
No fate but what we make
There are many things The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask is not. It is not the prettiest Legend of Zelda game. Exactly 20 years since its Japanese debut, the discernible polygons that make up the world and characters of Termina locate the game squarely in the fifth console generation. While we respect its Expansion...

@noah1854 i am not sure there is any thing you can do other than wait until the time when they will let you buy it
I got it for Easter, it is awesome, 5 stars all the way!!
If you don't have it get it worth every penny!!
Meh.............they redid the moon face, sad... I will admit this was probably the last real Zelda game made on the planet before the GBC games. Sadly it was also the last time anything made sense. This game is really an remake of "Zelda Dreamy Island/Links Awakening". To make things clearer that game is really an extension of another Gameboy game, ( Prince something ). I will admit this game was probably the most fun I had with Zelda games since the OOT. Milky hugs....ha ha ha
Another good remake from the old nintendo classics to 3ds port.
