There are plenty of options on the market when it comes to Nintendo Switch carry cases and storage solutions, but sometimes you just can't beat an adorable homemade effort that gets the job done just as nicely.
Demonstrating our point perfectly is this wonderful little case from Instagram user, @thingamabobprints. Designed to look like a Power Star, the case can be cracked open to reveal slots for ten Switch cartridges – it's 3D printed from what the creator calls a "high quality" resin and can be seen in action below.
If you're interested, you can actually see the case being printed in this making-of video; it gets cleaned up, sanded down and painted to form the finished product:
Pretty sweet, huh?
Are you any good at making home projects like this? Most of us don't have a 3D printer lying around, but are you feeling inspired to create your own Switch accessories? Share your thoughts with us in the comments.

Very cute, just not very compact use of space, and I worry if it stores the game cards securely or not.
But it's a good display piece for at home.
Cute but impractical. I have a standard case around the same size that can hold 3x as many cartridges.
That’s great. A mushroom version was also be appreciated and would look good on the shelf together.
Although, I’m sure there is a way to fit more cartridges into them. At that rate I’d need about 7 or them.
How about a question mark box that drops games when you punch it?
I'm pretty sure it's more of a gaming space decoration that doubles as some utility than an actual very efficient (and not so cute), box of cartridges
WOW! That is awesome! I'd totally buy that for my sister. She'd LOVE it!
@Mountain_Man can you tell me what case you have? i do not like big and bulky cases and do not want to spend more than 20 bucks for one. thanks
Eh, form over function.

@Mountain_Man thanks
alot have a nice day.
The stock music is awful, but the case does look pretty neat.
How many digital games does it fit?
It's cute but only can hold 8 cartridges.
(Looking at HORI card case 24)
I summon you, HORI 24 !
@Bobb you’re 100% right! That’s what we were going for

@horobita thank you so much for the support!! We really appreciate it! We are working on more designs right now! Going to reveal the next design on our Instagram very soon! Also we are working on a Zelda themed case but it’s going to take a lot of work (it’s going to be big) but it’s on our list just not sure when we will finish it.
