With only a week until launch, you wouldn't expect Capcom to have further reveals for Ghosts ‘n Goblins Resurrection, but last night's Nintendo Direct told us otherwise. For the first time in Ghosts ’n Goblins history, Resurrection is introducing a co-op mode.
Available locally for two players, Arthur can be assisted by one of three supporting characters: Barry provides barriers for defence, Kerry offers transportation by carrying Arthur through danger, whilst Archie creates bridges to cross.
If you're interested in learning more, game director Tokuro Fujiwara recently revealed some insights into Resurrection's development, explaining everything from art style to Arthur's choice of underwear. You can pre-order it now for £24.99 / $29.99 / €29,99.
Excited to try co-op in Ghosts 'n Goblins Resurrection? Let us know in the comments.

Alrighty, the game looks pretty decent, might wait for a sale though.
Barry barrier, Kerry carry, Archie...bridge arch. They definitely 'stretched' that last one.
Oh, the door's over there? I'll see myself out, thanks.
I’ll wait for the sale on this.
Cool, when this was announced I thought if only it had co-op, but three whole unique support characters, NOICE!
Nice that they gave us Ghosts 'n Goblins for free on Capcom Arcade Stadium in preparation for this game.
Looks a lot like the PSP version. I do like the hand drawn enemies but sprites would have been preferable.
I think it looks horrible. Nothing marries well graphically and it looks flat and cut out.
Seems like a missed opportunity to not have Firebrand as a playable character.
@Spookles I think that's what they were going for. I really like it.
@masterLEON Bridget Bridge. There, fixed that for you Capcom.
Needs online play. We’re in a pandemic.
I’ll wait until there is a sale. Not eager to receive all that punishment 😅
Plants and Zombies might get my cash this time.
