Witcher 3 day 1 no doubt.
That's all for this week.
Oh boy, what a week next week.
Witcher 3, Overwatch, and
Killer Queen Black are what i’m looking forward too next week.
I also noticed Little Town Hero is also coming out next week. I’m just gonna wait for reviews, and see if it’s good because nothing has really sold me on it yet.
I'm throwing a curveball and buying contraptions. I used to love a older version on PC. Basically a yolo purchase for me. Lol
The Witcher 3 will be mine! Also first time playing the game!
I really want Planescape: Torment & Icewind Dale Enhanced Edition and Baldur's Gate and Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Editions but it seems that I have to import them. My retailers have no information if they will even have copies
Heavily considering picking up a physical copy of The Witcher 3 (I'm 95% digital on Switch, even with retail games, but between the 32GB card and the physical goodies, there's no incentive whatsoever to purchase it digitally).
Witcher 3 on a portable? I'm sold, at full price again, on day one.
I'm not buying anything else for a long time. What with FE3H, DQ11S, and now Witcher 3
Was going to buy Overwatch. Now it feels wrong. One week way too late, Blizzard
A Knight's Quest is the only one that interests me.
Is Doraemon physical in EU? Can't find anywhere it is in the US but the eshop.
I just got the SEGA AGES release of Ichidant-R in the Japanese eShop this morning. I've also pre-ordered the physical version of the Dragon Quest Trilogy. (A bit late, I know.)
I WAS interested in Killer Queen when it was going to be 6 player on one console.
I don't see 4 player online retaining the arcade fun and intensity of playing next to your opponents.
No cross save has killed witcher for me. I dont fancy tracking through what I've already done on ps4 and that would always be my main for the big screen
I remember Baldur’s Gate being one of my first games during the early days of the PS2. Had a lot of fun. I wonder if its still fun today.
Overwatch has me curious but that’s way too pricey for me. I’ll save my money for Luigi’s Mansion 3 later this month.
Was looking forward to Pine, but that got delayed.
Nothing right away this week, but I have Baldur's Gate and friends on my radar for possibly some point in a backlog-free future.
Overwatch LE day one since I already pre purchased it.
Witcher 3, but need to see reviews first.
Has anyone heard much on Old School RPG Bundle? Sounds veryyyy interesting, tbh, though the price obviously throws me off in regards to an unknown (to me).
And Witcher obv has my attention but want to see others' opinions on it.
Wait a second... Little Town Hero...is being sold for $25. Gamefreak overly neglected a main series Pokémon game...for a game they don't even plan to sell for half the price of Sword and Shield. I mean, I'm not saying the game still couldn't essentially be an 'Earthbound 4'...but that price tag isn't inspiring much confidence from me. And Sword and Shield suffered so much for this...ugh.
@XBontendo Same. I wanted to buy it on Switch, but not anymore. Maybe I'll get a used physical copy down the line, but they should be ashamed.
#standwithhongkong
Killer Queen is the best arcade game I've ever played. Fans of Towerfall should give this a looksee. Not sure how online is going to shake out, but hopefully they change their minds down the road and allow 3v3 local.
@EmmatheBest Is there proof that Sword and Shield "suffered" from another game they made? I mean a company can make more than one at a time. It doesn't automatically mean another game is going to be lesser because of it.
I mean I've heard a lot of complaints about the new Pokemon game. A lot of legit ones in there but that don't bother me personally. But this is a new one on me and it seems to be reaaaally stretching it.
Killer Queen Black, finally!!!
Also, ads seem pretty bad on this post. There’s SO many. And uhh...half of them are advertising a “4 hour stiffy.” Viagara substitutes in an ad on a Nintendo site? Kinda weird.
Calling Little Town Hero essentially "Earthbound 4" is an even bigger stretch...
I haven't had a chance to to play Witcher 3 yet, so I'll be picking it up physical. I won't start it though until I'm finished with Dragon Quest XI. I'm only 40 hours in, so that might be a little while.
For anyone who's played Witcher 3, is the game similar to Skyrim?
@cyrus_zuo It’s 8 players local with 2 Switch systems. Between 8 people, I would imagine you know 2 with Switches. Maybe?
In my friend group, even the non-gamers own a Switch at this point. It’s getting weird, haha.
@imgrowinglegs You're probably getting those ads from the stuff you search in your browser, for example the ads I see on Nintendo site are from CEX from looking up games.
I read that as "Contraceptions."
Still playing catchup. Need to grab Grid, and then maybe Witcher 3.
@PhatToad I’m getting ads on this page for the aforementioned “4 hour stiffy,” smart money investments, and real estate. I assure you I’m not as old and boring as these ads think I am, haha.
I figured it’s search related, but these all missed the mark. It’s weird.
@Joker13z It suffered in quite a number of ways actually, but I'd be willing to look past all of them if every Pokémon was in the game. If the 3DS was able to fit over 800, I don't think like 100 more would make the Switch combust or anything. And we know this only happened because Gamefreak REALLY wanted to work on this passion project of theirs more than Sword and Shield, which is guranteed to have a wider audience and profit margin. Say what you will, but a main series Pokémon game without the ability to get every Pokémon by the end of the Gen (they've said multiple times they won't patch this feature in), is basically sacrilege to what the series so far has built itself around.
@EmmatheBest Yes we all know the new Pokemon game could be better I just said that lol. You still haven't provided any proof that this game somehow caused that. You don't KNOW this happened because they made this other game. Nobody knows how their development process and team works except them.
Plus you're acting a little odd and very defensive about it. I just said there are a lot of legit complaints about Pokemon but a lot don't bother me. That's my opinion sorry. You're acting like I said the game is going to be amazing and there's nothing wrong with it.
Which just kind of proves that you're just looking for something/someone to blame.
I mean it couldn't possibly just be they wanted to be lazy about Pokemon and leave stuff out cause they want to sell an "ultra or enhanced version" like they did with almost every other pokemon main title. Which will make them more money. Here is Pokemon Lance! It contains more story and more pokemon including half of the National Dex! Please give us $60 bucks! lol Noooo it has to be because they decided to make a non Pokemon game. I mean get real here dude. You're sounding like a Gamefreak themed Alex Jones.
The Witcher 3 physical. Neglected it on PS4
Eventually when I get a 1TB SD card I'll probably get Witcher 3.
@Mando44646 LOL before long, I'm going to have Fire Emblem: Three Houses, The Witcher 3, Dragon Quest XI S, and Pokemon Shield to play, along with a variety of smaller indie or budget titles.
I'll definitely be set until Animal Crossing releases in March.
Big week this week with Witcher 3, Overwatch, Little Town Hero, Killer Queen Black (FINALLY!) and even more.
Waiting for a review, but if it reviews well might check out Little Town Hero. Witcher 3's graphics downgrade is enough for me to just play it on PC one of these days instead. Don't need overwatch can just play on PC. Overall a really packed week though with lots of interesting titles for anyone that just has a switch and no PC or other consoles.
I can't follow the constant stream of games coming on Switch, no money left
Witcher 3, I think I’ll wait for Town to be on sale
No new SNES games?
So I’m scrolling through this article on my phone and decide to count the ads that this site puts on......... 17 ads. Can NintendoLife please cut it out? That’s a sickening amount of monetizing your viewers. I’d understand maybe three ads if you really really want to do that but 17 on this is insane and I don’t remember it being this bad before.
Getting witcher 3 physical. Probably won't play it for a bit, but I'll support them using the big ass 32GB card. That's why I skipped spyro.
Nah, there's nothing that interests me this week.
Has anyone played the Super Monkey ball demo yet? I have it pre-ordered (physical) but looking at the demo now I'm not so sure.
I’ve got the physical Witcher preordered- Amazon has it for $49 if anyone’s interested in a $10 discount. Really thinking about Overwatch... have the space and the eshop credit just haven’t pulled the trigger.
Also interested in Mable in the Woods and Little Town Hero but going to wait for some reviews/ spare time.
I cancelled my Overwatch pre-order. Blizzard is honestly disgusting for what they've done.
So strange that the title says 10th October even though most of the (exciting) games in that article won't be out on that date yet (and this time it was obvious, everyone knows OW and Witcher 3 come out mid October and yet Tracer is on the article thumbnail).
NL keeps doing this again and again.
#clickbait
Man its been RPG heaven on the Switch. I am still churning thru FE3 and then in just a few short months time we get Divinity 2, DQ11, Witcher3, NNKuni and awesome oldies like Baldur and Icewind. The second half of this year is just unreal. Other great stuff like Grid, AChain, DaemonX, they just keep rolling. Really all the Switch is lacking at this point is quality sports games. NBA2K is a solid port, but FIFA going legacy in year three, when it was already legacy to begin with is sad (but hey its EA so its expected). I wish we could get a quality (made for Switch like they did back with Wii or 3DS) Madden Football game and maybe PES Soccer. Its an arcade game, but I don't think Super Mega Baseball 2 is getting enough press. Its excellent in all phases, great cartoony graphics, excellent hit/pitch mechanics, just plain fun. I full recommend buying it to anyone who like Baseball but isn't looking for a true sim.
Wow, 12% who's okay with Blizzard right now. Shocking!
@Ralizah Yep, same with me. I'm nearly all digital too but going with physical for The Witcher 3. I've seen it for a good price and having all the game on one card and the bonus's that come with it makes it a no brainer.
I hope no one buys Overwatch.
#freehongkong
Nothing for me. But loving SteamWorld Quest on the train. So that is ok
Witcher 3 is one of my favorite games. This all makes me want to install it again, just to run around in the world.
Some things will be a bit lost if not played Witcher 2 🤔
I'm getting the witcher 3 but not for a month or two.
Wait, Overwatch isn't FTP? I never played it but had always assumed it was a micro transaction game.
One of my retailer put Planescape: Torment & Icewind Dale Enhanced Edition and Baldur's Gate and Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Editions for the PS4 and Xbox One today on their site!
So I assume that in the following days until 15th they will put them for Switch as well!
Witcher 3 for me and that’s it, I already own Baldur’s gate 1 and 2 and Icewind Dale which im playing at the moment and also own torment escape on iOS and playing these type of games on a 12.9 inch touch screen is personally my favourite way of playing as its so much faster then using a controller
I already pre-downloaded Overwatch last week before the bad stuff happened. I don't agree with anything that Blizzard's heads have done, but the developers of the game don't deserve to be caught in the crossfire. I've been looking for a good FPS so I'm gonna play it.
I really need to hunker down and get serious about playing the witcher 3. I've started several times but something else always pulls me away. I think i have open world fatigue. I still never finished any of the Xenoblade games either. Heck i played Red dead redemption 2 for about a month and just got bored.
You forgot to list Corpse Party: Blood Drive for the eshop
@XBontendo exactly my thoughts. I wonder how the Switch sales will do overall.
Witcher 3 & the D&D games for me.
River City Melee Mach!!
I have Witcher 3 on Xbone so I will pass on that.
Gimme dem D&D games!
Witcher 3 when it hits Europe on the 15th.
Had been considering Overwatch, but not anymore considery how Blizzard has acted banning a HK player for freedom of speech. Trash company that bows to China
Witcher 3 and Planescape...and that should about do it for the rest of the year
Switcher 3 physical, Digimon Cyber Sleuth Complete- physical, and downloaded Corpse Party from the Eshop.
@dartmonkey Do you know when we'll get a review for The Witcher 3? Thought we might have seen it by now!
@frabbit Not too long to wait
@dartmonkey I assumed this meant 2PM. Damnittt
